The golfing world is in good stead with the number of high-quality under-30 players among the ranks.
Headlining the youngsters is Scottie Scheffler, who is the best player in the world and won the PGA Tour Player of the Year last week.
We look at the best under 30 players in the world and how bettors can make a killing backing them at the sportsbook.
Scottie Scheffler
He needs no introduction as the No. 1 player in the world. Scheffer had an incredible 2022, including a win at the Masters.
Despite blowing a six-shot lead in the Tour Championship with one round to go, Scheffler showed his class and that’s going to take him a long way.
It has been a whirlwind 12 months for the 26-year-old American, who hadn’t won a tournament prior to February. He now owns four trophies, and although his last win came at the Masters, he went close on numerous occasions.
It’s only a matter of time before Scheffler wins again and solidifies his top ranking.
“On behalf of the PGA Tour, congratulations to Scottie on his remarkable season and his unprecedented achievements,” PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan told PGATour.com.
“Undoubtedly, one of the highest compliments a player can receive is the endorsement from his peers, and the fact that Scottie’s season was both dominant and consistent spoke volumes to the membership. With young stars like Scottie leading the way, the PGA TOUR is in great hands for many years to come.”
Golf betting markets always have Scheffler near the top of the list, but he typically pays value odds. Also check Magical Kenya Open odds and Corales Punta Cana odds.
Will Zalatoris
Despite having only one PGA Tour win to his name, we’re not leaving Will Zalatoris out of this discussion.
The 26-year-old won the St. Jude Championship to kick off the FedEx Cup Playoffs before pulling out due to injury the following week.
Despite needing to mend, which could take a few months, Zalatoris is still one of the brightest golfing stars.
He finished second in three majors, including the 2022 PGA Championship and U.S. Open, so he’s a quality golfer and we expect him to be competitive in the big tournaments in 2023.
Betting online markets usually have Zalatoris around +1700 to win, so there is value available.
Viktor Hovland

Viktor Hovland is only 24 years of age, so the three-time PGA Tour winner has already carved out an impressive career.
Despite his wins coming in lesser-known tournaments, such as the Mayakoba Classic (twice), he has competed highly on the world stage, including a T4 at the Open Championship this year.
His results haven’t accurately reflected his top-end ability, but there is plenty of room for improvement and he could win a couple of times in 2023.
The Norwegian has more power than most and the future is bright for one of the PGA Tour’s best young players.
Collin Morikawa
What Collin Morikawa has achieved as a 25-year-old is quite incredible.
The American is a five-time PGA Tour winner, including two majors. He won the 2020 PGA Championship before winning the 2021 Open Championship, so he has won the most majors of any young player.
He also has a DP World Tour Championship title to his name, so he’s classy and his golf odds are always worth entertaining.
Morikawa has one of the better temperaments of any golfer on tour. Unlike Scheffler, who gets hot under the collar, Morikawa keeps it even-keeled and that holds him in good stead for the future.
If we had to bank on any under-30 golfer to have the longest career, Morikawa is our man.
