Tiger Woods in Happy Gilmore 2? Who We Really Want to See + Cameo Odds!

Tiger Woods is trending again thanks to the US Open. But given his longshot betting odds at 225/1, he has no shot at winning. However, he’s also making the news for different reasons: Happy Gilmore 2.

Adam Sandler, the film’s star and producer hinted that Woods will make a cameo in the highly anticipated sequel. The odds are set at -150 he does, and we’d love to see him in a funny albeit brief role along with these other figures.

We’ll Mark Out if These Happy Gilmore 2 Cameos Happen

We can bet online on who will show up for the greatest sequel since Top Gun: Maverick. There is a long list of celebrities from Ben Stiller (-250) to Snoop Dogg (+150) to Michael Jordan (+300). But not all cameos are made the same. Some are expected (Stiller had an uncredited role in the original) while some may hit just like a Marvel Cinematic Universe plot twist.

With that said, we’re sure these cameos will bring down the house should it happen:

Will Zalatoris to Return as the Caddy

Alternative fact: Will Zalatoris played the caddy at the Waterbury Open in Happy Gilmore. In all seriousness, he did not. That was Jared Van Snellenberg, who is now a psychiatry professor in Canada. Zalatoris was not even born when the OG film was released. But that has not stopped fans, including Happy Gilmore himself, from congratulating him during his second-place run at the 2021 Masters.

Even if Zalatoris played along with the joke, he’s not expected to appear as a caddy in the sequel (-300). But if he somehow makes this happen, it may just elicit the biggest cheers from those in the know.

Koepka and DeChambeau Renew “Rivalry”

The Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau rivalry is a thing of the past. Was there even one? The PGA Tour tried desperately to make it happen. And all of us fans rode with it. But now, they can make fun of it while appearing in Happy Gilmore 2. Koepka is listed at +250 to make a cameo while DeChambeau is at +325.

We envision a scene where the two will be paired ala Happy Gilmore and Bob Barker. They’ll try to outdo each other in all kinds of nonsense. Jabs will be exchanged, verbal and literal, as their self-parodies to a ‘T’. However, we won’t be betting online on it as it’s a tough sell for two of golf’s more serious personalities.

Charles Barkley Beats Michael Jordan, Finally

Speaking of rivalries, how about Charles Barkley finally one-upping one of his greatest rivalries, Michael Jordan? Barkley is listed at +400 to make a cameo while ‘MJ’ is at +300. Shaquille O’Neal constantly reminds “Chuck” that he has zero NBA titles. And that’s mainly due to Jordan.

So Barkley can exact some measure of vengeance by beating Jordan on the golf course. Even if it is fictional. How will it happen? Maybe Barkley finishes higher than Jordan or he wins a head-to-head matchup. But the sportsbook will likely give this long shot odds as Jordan would never agree to losing even if it’s all in good fun.

Rory McIlroy Finally Wins The Masters

It’s 2024 and we’re still waiting for Rory McIlroy to win the Masters. He came close in 2022 by finishing second. But it’s still the only major title that eludes him. Guess what? Fiction can make it happen. As Gilmore won the “Gold Jacket” in 1996, McIlroy can win his in 2025 (or whenever the film releases).

But “Rory Mac” will have to be a sport about it. He’s listed at +250 to make a cameo appearance. That’s better than his outright golf betting lines to win any of the next coming majors, at least.
