Action Reverse

Reverse Bets are a combination of between 2-8 teams where every possible 2-Team combination therein is made into an If Bet and then reversed the other way around. Every team in the Reverse will pair with every other team in the Reverse to form two If Bets (see If Bet rules). Reverses always have Double Action.

Buying Points

Football (NFL, NCAA, 1AA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA, WNBA)

Buying points allows you to change the point-spread or total of a football or basketball game. You can move the point-spread so you get more points when betting the underdog or you give away fewer points when betting the favorite. You can move the total so you get a higher total when betting the under or a lower total if betting the over. BetUS offers up to 10 full points (20 half points). The charges per half point are listed below.

For all Football spreads there are two notable exceptions:

  1. Buying on or off 3, where the cost per half point both on and off 3, is 2.5 times the charge listed below.
  2. Buying on or off 7, where the cost per half point both on and off 7, is 2 times the charge listed below:

If Bets

An if bet is similar to a parlay in that your selections are linked, however, your second wager will only be placed if your first selection is a winner. Likewise, each subsequent leg of the If Bet is will be placed as long as the preceding winner is the winner.

The main advantage to an If Bet is that it allows you to place multiple wagers with a limited amount of funds as you can use a single risk amount to place up to 6 wagers. The wagers can be concurrent or overlapping.

Learn more of If Bets on our If Bet Betting Guide.

Rules

  1. Any sport can be included in an If Bet.
  2. A minimum of two selections and a maximum of six selections can be used in an IF Bet
  3. Circled games, futures and props cannot be included in an IF Bet.
  4. If Bets must be placed prior to the earliest event on the Ticket
  5. All wager amounts must be equal or less than the original amount of the first selection.
  6. In single-action (win only), a subsequent selection will only have action if the preceding wager is a win.
  7. In double-action (win and push), subsequent bets will have action only if the preceding bet is a win, push, no action, or canceled.
  8. Related combinations within the same game or associated periods are not allowed.

Parlay Wagers

A Parlay is a combination of two or more bets on one or more games. You must correctly predict all of your selections to win your Parlay. The more games you select, the higher the combined odds and therefore the bigger the potential win if all of your selections are correct. Payouts will adjust accordingly to any moneyline picks used.

Rules

  1. You may combine any point spread, moneyline and/or totals/team total from any sport/event open for parlays.
  2. If any selection of a parlay is a loss, the entire parlay will be considered a loss.
  3. If any selection of a parlay is a Push, Cancellation, Tie, or if any of the events are graded as No Action, the parlay and payout will reduce to the next lowest number. Two team parlays will reduce to a single wager with only the remaining selection having action.
  4. Related combinations within the same game or associated periods are not allowed.
  5. Up to 10 full points ( 20 half points ) may be purchased within each selection of a parlay.
  6. Regardless of any sport or line the maximum parlay payout is $200,000.

Payouts will adjust accordingly to any moneyline picks used. The exception is where all selections are priced at -110. In this case the payout odds below apply.

  3. Parlays will be in 2-6 selection combinations.

Straight Bet

A straight bet is a single wager on the outcome of a single event or game. Depending on the line-type, the outright winner, the spread or a combined total of both teams decide whether you win or lose. The confirmed odds at the time you placed your wager will determine the amount you win.

Rules for Single Wagers

  1. All straight bets are single wagers the outcome of which is Win, Loss, or Push (Tie, No Action, Cancelled) based on the event or game wagered on.
  2. All have standard odds (-110) and pay 10/11 unless otherwise noted.
  3. The line taken when the wager is placed is constant regardless of subsequent line fluctuation on the BetUS site.
  4. Ties, Cancellations, Pushes, and No Action wagers, for whatever reasons they occur, will result in wager amounts being returned to the BetUS client’s BetUS account.
  5. Each Prop wager has a different set of rules so please contact us if you don’t understand the rules. (Check the bottom of the lines for individual rules)

Teaser Wagers

A teaser is a wager involving two or more outcomes in a single wager wherein you adjust the point spread/total in your favor in return for reduced odds.

A teaser can be played in American Football (NFL/NCAA) and Basketball (NBA/NCAA) or a combination of these two sports only. Teasers have a minimum of two selections and a maximum of 15. Betus also offers Baseball (MLB) teasers (2-7 Teams, 1.5 runs per team on run totals only).

Teasers are similar to a parlay in that they allow you to place a wager with between two and fifteen selections but in exchange for taking a lower payout, you can “tease” the line in your favor.

You can tease the point spread and or total on a basketball or football game. When you tease them a favorite on the point spread you are actually decreasing the number of points that your selection has to win by or if you take the underdog you are increasing the points your selection can lose the game by before the selection is a loss. When your teaser includes overs and or under, the total is teased lower if you choose an over and higher if you choose and under.

Rules

  1. Teasers must have between 2 and 15 teams.
  2. Any loss in a teaser will grade the entire wager as a loss. There are no partial payouts.
  3. A push in a regular teaser of 3 teams or more will reduce the number of plays in the teaser. For example, a 5-team teaser that has two pushes will become a 3-team teaser and the payout will be recalculated based on the new number of plays.
  4. A push or tie in any 2-team regular teaser will result in a push for the whole teaser unless the other game is graded a loss. If any portion of a 2-team teaser is graded No Action, the entire teaser will be graded No Action, unless the other team is graded a loss.
  5. Any event which does not take place on the date specified in the wager will be graded as No Action and the wager will reduce accordingly as explained above.
