145th Preakness Stakes: Authentic morning-line favorite

The field is set for the 145th Preakness Stakes, which will be run Saturday at Pimlico Race Course. Kentucky Derby winner Authentic is the 9-5 favorite on the morning line for the 1 3/16 miles third leg of the Triple Crown. Belmont Stakes winner Tiz the Law is passing on the Preakness.

In all, 11 horses were entered. Swiss Skydiver is a filly and she is seeking to become the sixth female to win the Preakness, which usually is the middle jewel of the Triple but has moved to the final leg due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
