The Preakness Stakes takes place Saturday at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. The second leg of the Triple Crown has lost some luster as Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike and a number of other possible contenders have opted to skip the 1 3/16 miles race.
