7 Furlongs, The Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint
Grade I
Purse $1,000,000
For Fillies And Mares, Three-years-old And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 122 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs.; Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs.
1 — Bell’s The One: She was able to run down Serengeti Empress at Churchill Downs in most recent start. The 4-year-old daughter of Majestic Perfection will be flying late and would benefit from a speed duel up front.
2 — Serengeti Empress: Was nailed by our top choice in the last effort. She has two firsts and two seconds at the distance. A menacing threat.
3 — Gamine: Trained by Bob Baffert, the daughter of Into Mischief gave way late in the Kentucky Oaks. She turns back in distance here and will be out there winging. There will be pressure early and it will take its toll.

5 1/2 Furlongs, (Turf). The Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint
Grade I
Purse $1,000,000
For Three-year-olds And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 124 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs.; Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 122 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. All Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.
1 — Leinster: Great spot and distance for the son of Majestic Warrior, who is seven times first or second in eight races at 5 1/2 furlongs.
2 — Got Stormy: Won his first race at this distance in the last start. Comes in off three straight triple-figure Beyers. One of the toughest horses in a deep field. Look for a charge late.
3 — Glass Slippers: Another horse who loves this distance with five firsts and two seconds in eight starts at 5 1/2.
Breeders’ Cup World Championships Picks Longshot: Oleksandra
1 Mile, The Big Ass Fans Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile
Grade I
Purse $1,000,000
For Three-year-olds And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 123 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. All Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.
1 — Complexity: This one is going to take some beating. He is 3-for-3 at the distance and comes in off a gigantic 110 Beyer in the Kelso at Belmont. The concern is this is a two-turn mile as opposed to the Kelso, which was one turn at the huge Belmont surface. Also: Will he bounce?
2 — Sharp Samurai: Would love to go stronger with this long shot but he has seconditis, placing in his last three races. It won’t take a ton for him to improve and light up the tote board.
3 — Art Collector: Won the Blue Grass here and posted a career-best 103 Beyer figure in doing so. Toss out his troubled Preakness. He will be live.
Breeders’ Cup World Championships Picks Longshot: Pirate’s Punch
1 3/16 Miles, (Turf). The Makers Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf

For Fillies And Mares, Three-years-old And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds,120 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs. Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 118 lbs. Older, 124 lbs.
1 — Rushing Fall: Is 11-of-14 on the turf with a pair of seconds. You won’t get a great price but the object is to cash tickets not tear them up.
2 — Mean Mary: Was a nick back of the top pick in the Diana. These two could hook up again and put on another dazzling show.
3 — Audarya: Ships into Kentucky from France and has two wins and a third in the last three starts. Has two wins from four starts at this distance. Live.
Breeders’ Cup World Championships Picks Longshot: Cayenne Pepper
6 Furlongs, The Breeders’ Cup Sprint
Grade I
Purse $2,000,000
For three-year-olds and Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 124 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs.; Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds,122 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. All Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.
1 — Diamond Oops: Has won two in a row with the last being at Keeneland. Speed from the outside is lethal in sprints and this one starts from post 11.
2 — Whitmore: Would love for him to get back in top form and return to victory. However, the 7-year-old needs a form reversal off his last two efforts.
3 — C Z Rocket: Comes into this race with five straight victories. Not sure if he is to to this kind of field. Major class test. Be careful.

Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. All Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.
1 — Digital Age: In top form and comes off a career-best Beyer figure of 105. Two-for-two at the distance, which is a great indicator.
2 — Factor This: Could not hold off top pick in the Turf Classic but rebounded with a huge victory at Pimlico. Word of caution: That race was over a yielding course and this surface will not be labeled as that.
3 — Uni: Loves the distance and enters this race off a victory at Keeneland. Dangerous.

1 1/8 Miles, The Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff.

For Fillies and Mares, Three-years-old And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 121 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs.; Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 118 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs.
1 — Monomoy Girl: The magnificent 5-year-old mare has never been worse than second in 14 starts, with 12 victories. Until dethroned, she is the queen.
2 — Swiss Skydiver: If anyone is going to ascend to the throne, it would be this one who has taken on and beaten the boys. She won the Preakness in her last race and makes for an amazing opponent for the top choice.
3 — Valiance: Brings a three-race winning streak in here but appears a cut below the top two.

1 — Tarnawa: Will be flying late and could catch a good price with this 4-year-old filly. Tough spot.
2 — United: Always takes big money. The concern is asking the 5-year-old gelding to win at this distance, something he has not done in two previous starts.
3 — Channel Maker: Has thrown a pair of 108 Beyer figures in his last two races. Bill Mott trainee is sharp and ready for a huge effort.

1 1/4 Miles, (2:00) The Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic
Grade I
Purse $6,000,000
For Three-year-olds And Upward. Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 122 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs.; Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 118 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. All Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.
1 — Improbable: What a shock, Bob Baffert having huge chances in a race for mega-millions. Improbable has gotten better as the year has gone on. He enters this race with three straight wins and dusted Maximum Security in his last triumph.
2 — Global Campaign: Has a victory at the distance and has posted better Beyer figures in his last two races. Would be a long shot to end the day. Why not?
3 — Authentic: Couldn’t handle Swiss Skydiver in the Preakness. No reason to think he will get this field.
