Some of these guys should’ve stayed home
Pharrell recently dropped his debut Louis Vuitton collection, and of course, a fashion show in Paris filled with a plethora of famous names was required to boost sales.
You should already know the fashion police at BetUS don’t play around. We endorse stylish, smart, and in-trend fits that the average person would wear. Unfortunately, the Louis Vuitton branding is much bigger and more impressive than most of the garments on offer. And we already had low expectations ahead of Pharrell’s LV launch because we knew the outlandish, unrealistic, attention-seeking outfits were about to flow.
Beyonce looked like she came fresh from a Stars Wars shoot after piloting an X-Wing Fighter, Rihanna is still pregnant, Kim K wore a Minecraft print, and the catwalk models… looked sh*t.

But our beloved athletes, how did they fare? Let’s evaluate a few select sporting superstars that rocked up to Pharell’s gig dripping in LV.
LeBron James
Even with those NBA rumors about retirement going around, we can all agree LeBron James is a megastar on the court. But he faltered to steal much when opting for iced out grillz and sparkling sunglasses at Pharrell’s LV show.

I’ve given the four-time NBA champion props in the past; he’s unquestionably worn some dope fits. But this isn’t it. You played it safe from the neck down, it was going ok, but then you went all gangster rap on us.
LeBron James Outfit Rating: 5/10
Russell Westbrook
LeBron wasn’t the only hoops legend attempting to make a fashion statement. Russell Westbrook also topped the NBA news for his appearance at the SS24 fashion show, but I have a bone to pick.
High-end fashion is all out of ideas, and the reinvention of specific styles can work. Rebirthing the baseball jacket or relaxed-fit t-shirt, ok, cool. But there’s a reason why nobody has worn flares since the 70s and those that did were high as sh*t. They’re ugly, and at this show, these flare-type trousers were everywhere, and Westbrook gets an instant 1/10 for this nonsense.

His plus-one, however, is a different kettle of fish. I’d certainly give her more than one.
Russell Westbrook Outfit Rating: 1/10
Lewis Hamilton
Vroom, we’re out of F1 rumors, but Lewis Hamilton made headlines when rocking up to Pharrell’s fashion gig looking like a checkered flag.

Seriously though, I’ll give credit where credit is due, and it’s one of the more acceptable selections from a sea of ridiculously priced eyesores.
Oh wait, I spoke too soon; more flares.

For looking better than the Minecraft duo, you can have a 3/10 rating, but leave the trousers in Paris.

Not-so Honorable mentions
Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics learned absolutely nothing from Miami because he didn’t bring the Heat.

Biker gloves, ok… You get a pass, but those damn flares again. Nope, you can join Westbrook, bro, 1/10.
Well, Brown actually looked acceptable compared to Kyle Kuzma.

Give Shaquille O’Neal his trousers back, you ant-looking motherf*cker. That’s a heavy 1/10; join your NBA friends on the bench of shame.
With no luck, I searched high and low for an acceptable outfit worn by sports athletes at Pharrell’s LV fashion show. My conclusion? LV should make more bags and fewer trousers.
I’m done with this freak show, deuces.
