Stylists… Stand Up

It’s giving internal organ.

By this point, we’ve all watched the 2025 Oscars, right? If not, you’ve at least seen the highlights—and by highlights, I mean all the mouth-to-mouth kissing that went down in celebrity news last night. But beyond the unexpected makeout sessions by literally everyone, there was another thing keeping our heads on a swivel: the fashion.

And as always, we have opinions. Let’s jump into the best and worst looks of Hollywood’s most prestigious night.

Halle Berry-Slay

I’d say this woman found the fountain of youth, but let’s be real—Halle Berry was probably born in it. I don’t think she ages. Not only is she gorgeous, but her dress was stunning, making a statement without distracting from her natural beauty.

The actress beamed like a mirrorball in a strapless Christian Siriano gown paired with Pomellato jewelry. But you know what did distract from her beauty? Kissing Adrien Brody on the lips—in front of his wife. Yeah… I’m still trying to retrieve my jaw from the floor. Wild, wild night. But, it’s good to know some good old-fashioned award show shock value and celebrity rumors are still alive and well.

Sarah Paulson – What Is Happening Here?

It’s giving balloon animal.

It’s giving internal organ.

It’s giving “I have an award show at 7 but need to be asleep by 8.”

It’s giving live-action Magic School Bus biology lesson.

Honestly, it’s giving everything—just in the most confusing way possible. Maybe I’m not evolved enough to appreciate it, but I’m sorry, this is unhinged. That said, if built-in napping pillows become a trend, I’ll be the first to hop on board.

Ariana Grande – A Masterclass in Red Carpet Glam

Miss Ariana Grande crushed this red carpet. Now this is how you do bold and fun without doing too much. Naturally, she stuck to her Glinda-coded fashion era, wearing a Daniel Roseberry haute couture design straight from the Spring 2025 collection.

Honestly? Insanity.

Her whimsical nude skirt was embellished with over 190,000 crystal sequins, rhinestones, and cut beads. She completed the look with De Beers diamonds and Jimmy Choo heels.

Ariana, you may not have taken home an Oscar, but you won the 2025 Academy Awards red carpet.

Zoë Saldaña – Stray

Zoë Saldaña, we wanted to love this. We really did. But the silhouette is a mess. Can you imagine putting this on, looking in the mirror, and thinking, Yeah, this is it?

Girl, your confidence is greater than mine—and probably your taste—but this? No. It looks like she got into a fight with a satin duvet cover…and lost.

That being said, she still looked stunning (by virtue of her being stunning), won Best Supporting Actress, and delivered a speech that literally had me tearing up. And I know the Arianators are a little peeved, but that speech? So good. Stay mad.

Cynthia Erivo – This Is How You Do It

Now this is how you pull off something out there and still look stunning and whimsical. Just like her co-star (and possible co-dependent bestie), the Best Actress nominee nailed method dressing, serving Elphaba vibes in a forest green velvet gown (ugh. It’s too good, guys) with a regal neckline, bow detail, and voluminous skirt.

She paired it with Roberto Coin jewelry and, of course, her signature claws. Perfection!

Demi Moore – Great, but Could Have Been Better

Remember the dress Demi Moore wore to the BAFTAs? That would have been perfect for the Oscars. Now, don’t get me wrong—she still looked drop-dead gorgeous, but for someone nominated for Best Actress, this was a bit… underwhelming. That said, she still delivered iconic movie-star glamour in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown.

The dress featured all-over crystal embroidery, a plunging neckline, and pleated hip detailing that led into a dramatic train. Gorgeous? Yes. Unforgettable? Not quite.

And there you have it—the best, the worst, and the most questionable looks of the night. The Oscars always deliver, and this year was no exception. Between dazzling gowns, unhinged fashion choices, and unexpected kisses, Hollywood’s biggest night kept us entertained.

Now, let’s start placing bets on who’s going to cause the most chaos next year. Check out our entertainment betting odds to get started!
