Halftime Perfection ✨
This halftime show is shaping up to be the highlight of NFL news this year…
Some of the best entertainment news of all time just dropped: SZA will be joining Kendrick Lamar for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
We hoped, we prayed, but we didn’t want to jinx it by assuming SZA would appear with K. Dot—even though it’s practically a no-brainer. Let’s be real: SZA and Kendrick have collaborated several times, and their creative chemistry is undeniable. Most recently, SZA has been featured on Luther, the most-streamed song from Kendrick’s latest album GNX.
Plus, she just released the extended version of her wildly successful album SOS Deluxe: LANA. Her inclusion in the SB 2025 lineup feels like destiny.

Social Media Buzz
Apple Music, the sponsor behind this year’s halftime gig, announced on Thursday. The platform confirmed that SZA will join Kendrick in New Orleans on February 9. A new teaser followed, showing Kendrick on the phone discussing adding someone to his set when SZA sneaks up behind him and dumps a jug of blue liquid all over him.
Fans, of course, are ecstatic. One commenter wrote, “Kendrick x SZA at the Super Bowl? We won,” while another chimed in with, “Suddenly we forgot there’s a game happening.”

Kendrick and SZA are as iconic of a duo as they come. GNX features two joint tracks, Luther and Gloria, and their latest collaboration, 30 for 30 appears on SZA’s SOS Deluxe. With SZA officially in the mix, we’re rethinking my predictions of what Kendrick Lamar songs he’ll perform.
I mean, while the odds to win the Super Bowl likely haven’t changed, what songs K Dot will play certainly have. They have to perform Gloria, right?
Tyler, The Creator? 👀
But SZA might not be the only guest. Entertainment rumors are swirling that Tyler, The Creator could also join Kendrick. Fans caught a glimpse of a marching band in the halftime teaser, and many noticed its resemblance to Tyler’s CHROMAKOPIA visuals. Tyler even dropped a cryptic zombie emoji in the teaser’s comments. Could he be part of Kendrick’s Halftime Show design? We hope, we pray!

Kendrick is calculated and intentional, and while he’s confirmed SZA, the rest is speculation. Either way, this halftime show is shaping up to be the highlight of NFL news this year. February can’t come soon enough!
