Move on over, Travis Kelce, Lionel Messi has arrived to snatch your BFF, as the Inter Miami star, in collaboration with Adidas, spent some time with Patrick Mahomes recently, in what could be a blossoming bromance worthy of both soccer rumors and NFL news.
Who said football (soccer and the American kind) can’t work together? The Argentine legend with Ballon d’Or awards and a 3x Super Bowl champion of the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, displayed some serious bromance in a recent campaign shoot for Adidas.

During the 45-second Adidas commercial, Messi is shown egging Mahomes to run faster, with the Chiefs man showing his appreciation for the support.
As the pair of sporting legends encourage one another to go faster, a caption pops up reading: “We all need someone to make us believe. You got this.”

While Mahomes and Messi were obviously the talk of the town following Adidas’ release of their new campaign, their wives, Antonela Roccuzzo and Brittany Mahomes, grabbed much of the attention.
Fans couldn’t help but gush over the warm and fuzzy family vibes, as the ad kicks off with the ladies before zooming in on the two sporting icons giving each other a friendly nudge.
The family-friendly vibe of the campaign hit home with audiences, who couldn’t help but shower praise on the two wives, dubbing them “soccer queens” in celebrity news and loving the whole unity and support thing going on. The comment section exploded with reactions, throwing confetti over real-life partnerships and those heartwarming family vibes!

While it may seem that this was nothing more than Adidas contracts they were living up to, some behind-the-scenes footage showed that this new friendship could be more than just work…
