Speed vs. Speed 🚀💰
But in all seriousness, respect to him for going toe-to-toe with an Olympian…
When it comes to big-time moments, IShowSpeed never misses, and this time, he’s taking on Team USA’s golden boy, Noah Lyles, in a head-to-head 50-meter race. Stakes? Just $100,000. You’d think an Olympic champ would make it a no-sweat win, but Speed surprised everyone by actually making it a race—or at least giving that impression.
If I didn’t know better, I’d say he was ready to sprint his way into the 2024 Paris Olympics. But the question still stands: could Speed actually go pro? And more importantly, could he really challenge a world-class athlete?

The Race That Was Almost Close…Almost
Let’s break it down: Speed and Lyles lined up, MrBeast himself refereeing, which is probably the most 2024 sentence you’ll read today. The gun goes off, and to everyone’s surprise, Speed gets a great start, even pulling slightly ahead. But as they reach the finish, Lyles turns his head, sees Speed struggling, and decides to start sprinting jumping across the line.

Could Speed Actually Go Pro?
Speed really did bring his A-game, and you gotta admit the man has some serious hustle. He genuinely believed he won the race, claiming that “something had to be wrong” with the footage. Watching it back, though, he probably saw just how much Lyles let off the gas. But here’s the thing: Speed has the drive, and maybe with training, he could be competitive in something…as long as it’s not against someone whose job is literally to run.

Who is Faster, Usain Bolt or Noah Lyles?
Spoiler alert: Usain Bolt still holds the title. Bolt’s record-breaking 9.58 seconds in the 100m and 19.19 seconds in the 200m remain untouched, with Lyles clocking in at a respectable but slower 9.83 and 19.31, respectively. Celebrity news or not, Lyles is fast—just not “Usain Bolt fast.”

Ultimately, the win went to Lyles, who took the $100,000 prize and donated it to a charity supporting young athletes. And Speed? Well, he’s still got IShowSpeed Net Worth to fall back on, and maybe next time, he’ll take on someone with slightly less sprinting hardware. But in all seriousness, respect to him for going toe-to-toe with an Olympian. Maybe next time, he’ll race someone who isn’t carrying the weight of Team USA’s hopes and dreams.
