Everyone Loves Easy Money 🥊💰
There’s a lot of talking, but not a lot of confirming.
We’re about a month out from Jake Paul vs. Julio César Chávez Jr., and somehow the conversation has already moved on to what Jake’s next fight might be. Which is either impressive planning or a very Jake Paul thing to do. Either way, it involves Badou Jack, and the only thing I’m sure of is that both guys are allergic to saying no to an easy paycheck.
There’s a lot of talking, but not a lot of confirming. Jake says he had his guy, Nakisa, reach out to Badou’s team. Badou says it’s “an easy fight” and “a money fight,” and in boxing, that’s basically a handshake agreement.
‼️ Jake Paul is ‘super interested’ in fighting WBC cruiserweight champion Badou Jack, with discussions ongoing 👀🗣️

Is it happening? Who knows.
Do they both want it? Also unclear.
But if the money’s there? They’re both showing up in matching robes.
Jack’s the Real Deal, but He’s Not Dumb
Badou Jack is 41, has held titles in three divisions, and actually defends his belt. This isn’t some crossover “what if?” He’s the current WBC cruiserweight champ. And he’s also very aware of what Jake Paul brings to the table: viral clips and a whole lot of people hate-watching.
Now that Badou Jack has been reinstated as the WBC Cruiserweight Champion will we see Jake Paul get a shot at a World title against a real Boxer. I been calling this match Badou vs Jake ever since he won the title. I believe it will happen. #badoujack #jakepaul #wbcboxing #DAZN pic.twitter.com/PYZcXNCvlh

And as for Jake, he’s fresh off beating 58-year-old Mike Tyson (Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul is still trending, btw) and is now set to fight Chávez Jr. on June 28 in California, and somehow there’s already a $1 million ‘Owner’s Experience’ package for it. Which tells you everything you need to know about who this fight is really for. If he wins that, he’ll be one step closer to actually getting a title shot.
But First, Chávez Jr.
Sure, Chávez Jr. is wildly inconsistent, but he’s also a former WBC middleweight champ and not 58 years old.
Jake swears he’s focused:
“He’s not gonna beat me. He’s just gonna be another legend I’m gonna beat and embarrass.”

In the End
This is classic boxing news.
We’ve got boxing rumors, vague threats, and mutual respect all wrapped in cash. Jake Paul’s net worth is going up whether he wins or loses, and Badou Jack’s next fight could very well be him. All that’s left is for someone to wire the money.
