This should absolutely be a better fight than Paul beating up on an old Tyson…
If you had $1 million to spare, you could have spent it on a boxing ticket to see Jake Paul fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday, June 28. If that sounds insane, then consider this week’s boxing news that someone actually has done it.
In fact, this same group had already spent $2 million last November on a similar package to see the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight that set the sport of boxing back several decades.
Dubbed the ‘Owners Experience,’ this is a taste of what the cost of luxury looked like at that fight:

In my best John Oliver impersonation: Cool.
I mean, it looks about as luxurious as VIP seating at a casino to watch sports on the screen. The only difference is the ring’s right there, but that Paul-Tyson fight was a disgrace, so that experience obviously wasn’t worth the money.
But the people who bought this VIP package last year are known as TorkLaw, a personal injury law firm with headquarters in California and offices in several states. I guess they must be doing well despite barely having 800 followers on X/Twitter.
TorkLaw also must have enjoyed the last fight, because here they are again dropping $1 million for the Owner’s Experience for Paul vs. Chavez Jr. Are they privy to some boxing rumors we don’t know that this will be an epic fight? Seems unlikely.

What Does the $1M Package Offer?
- Private owner’s box inside corral for two
- Four additional front-row ringside seats
- Private green room
- Food and open bar
- VIP access to open workout, press conference, and the weigh-in
- Meet-and-greets with main card fighters
- An exclusive fight week merchandise bag and fight poster signed by Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
- Full TorkLaw brand integration into the DAZN PPV broadcast
- Full event IP rights
Is It Worth It?
Maybe it’s the last two parts that tickle their fancy, as it’s just a way to promote their law business. But hey, we’ll check back in August to see if they’ve reached 1,000 followers after being on Twitter for 13 years.
For $1 million, you better promise me that ring girl Sydney Thomas will be there, and we only have one seat to share. A whole million to see Jake Paul’s next fight? In this economy? My goodness. This isn’t the Rumble in the Jungle, the 1974 fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, that actually would have been worth paying for a VIP experience to see.
The Cheaper Options
There are cheaper VIP packages for $2,500 to $6,000, but you still have to ask yourself if it’s really worth it. The only plus here is that this should absolutely be a better fight than Paul beating up on an old Tyson.
At least Chavez Jr. is only 39 years old and not going on 60. The Julio Cesar Chavez record is 54-6-1 with one no contest. He won his last match in July 2024 against Uriah Hall after a 3-year break. Paul is 11-1 but has faced suspect competition.
Without the draw of a name like Tyson, we’ll see what the interest level will be for this fight in June. However, even if the crowd is a dud, we know the promoters at least found one million-dollar sucker to show up with bells on for it.
