The Secret Juice Isn’t Working 🧃

Merab stole Costa’s food in retaliation – he continued the “beef” by stealing the beef… hilarious…

Paulo Costa, a UFC middleweight once known for his devastating KO-power, lost that aura within UFC rumors when reaching the elite opponents at the top of his division. However, ever since his loss to Israel Adesanya at UFC 253, we’ve witnessed a new side to the Brazilian brute, one that doesn’t project him as a scary threat but more of a joker.

From trolling fellow middleweights on social media to branding the unknown fluids he drinks as “the secret juice,” Costa has generated an all-new fan base from his antics, and honestly, we can’t get enough.

With consistent remarks claiming he’s a steroid user, watching him self-title anything he’s drinking as “secret juice” is a hilarious response that instantly proved his playful side. He’s run with this and much more in recent years, but UFC news, as of March 2024, cannot get enough of Costa’s trolling of the bantamweight division’s number-one contender, Merab Dvalishvili.

An Expected Fight Outside of the Octagon

They won’t battle in the octagon, but Costa’s trolling took an entirely different direction last week when he posted a video of him stealing Merab’s food from the UFC Performance Institute.

The UFC PI gyms are dedicated locations where UFC fighters can train, and as a part of the program, athletes on the roster receive ready-made food on their scheduled training days. Costa, being the joker he is, took Merab’s food. Of course, he took a video and posted it on X.

In an entirely playful manner, Merab told Costa he’d seek revenge, but before he could do so, Costa got him again! Only this time, the Georgian representative caught the secret-juice sipper in the act.

Obviously, the “secret juice” isn’t helping Costa much because he went in for seconds on Merab’s food order at the PI.

Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold

Earlier today, the moment we’d been waiting for happened. Merab stole Costa’s food in retaliation – he continued the “beef” by stealing the beef… hilarious. What makes Merab’s clip so funny is that he feeds Costa some of his own food at the end.

This is a perfect example of how up-and-coming UFC roster members market themselves outside the cage. I love it, and so do most MMA enthusiasts. Despite punching people for a living, it shows how these men aren’t just killing machines, and they become entirely relatable.

I hope the Costa/Merab food saga continues. Although upcoming UFC fights involving Costa have yet to be announced, perhaps the “secret juice” can assist Merab in his expected championship opportunity versus “Suga” Sean O’Malley later this year.
