Nate Diaz vs Masvidal, the Diaz/McGregor saga, and Diaz nearly stopping Leon Edwards via KO/TKO in the fifth round of their fight. Memorable fight moments are never far from the Diaz name, but in vintage Nate Diaz fashion, his latest fight highlight stems from a sparring session with a fan on the street.

Not So Serious Diaz

Fortunately for Diaz’s criminal record and the fan involved, the latest street brawl was strictly playful after said fan requested Nate sign his gloves.

It’s hard to predict what Nate Diaz will do next in any situation, whether in the cage during UFC fights, at a press conference, or on the roadside. Still, after requesting an autograph, the fan in question was asked to throw down by the UFC legend, and he quickly obliged.

It was a very light sparring session, and the fan threw a spinning back fist before Diaz easily took him to the ground. Despite being dragged onto the concrete, you can clearly see Diaz doing his best to protect the fan during this innocent rumble, and now, instead of an autograph, he’ll have a memory that will last him a lifetime.

Since the encounter between Diaz and the random fan, it has naturally gone viral in UFC news. Diaz also posted it to his Instagram, where he showed respect but also reminded him that he took an L.

This dude pulled up to me to sign these gloves, so I made him fight me. He lost, tho. Shoutout to homie, he was down to fight,” Diaz’s post read.

The Last Time Diaz Fought on the Streets

As a strong representative of Stockton, California, and an avid supporter of street life, Diaz is no stranger to taking his martial arts prowess onto the streets.

The recent clip of Diaz and the fan might have displayed Nate’s innocent side, but let’s not forget when he choked out a Logan Paul look-alike last year.

It was an eventful moment, to say the least, but let this be a reminder to you…

Respect a professional martial artist, and they’ll respect you back. However, should you want to play games and test yourself, Dana White can’t save you on the streets and will not end well for you, son.
