One Knockout and $600K in the Bank 🤑

Holloway stole the show and took POTN, and FOTN to collect $600k in bonus money alone…

This past weekend, UFC 300, live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, lived up to the hype and then some! From the opening scrap with Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt to the main event light heavyweight title bout between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill, no single fight failed to deliver the goods… in an event that hasn’t just etched itself into history because of its significant milestone, but because of the emphatic fighter performances, drama, and fight-ending moments, the MMA fan base got to witness.

Per Dana White, Figueiredo, Renato Moicano, Diego Lopes, and Kayla Harrison went home with undisclosed bonuses for their incredible UFC fights involving stoppage victories. They weren’t, however, recipients of the $300,000 Performance and Fight of the Night bonuses because, unfortunately for them, they were fighting on the same card as Max “Blessed” Holloway!

Holloway stole the show and took POTN, and FOTN to collect $600k in bonus money alone, and my words cannot do his unforgettable fight with Justin Gaethje justice. So, watch the clip below.

After putting on a striking masterclass for 24 minutes and 50 seconds, Holloway risked a guaranteed decision victory to become the “BMF” champ, pointed to the middle of the octagon with 10 seconds remaining, and swung it out like a bar-room-brawl with Gaethje to then knock out the former title holder with 2 seconds remaining on the clock.

What’s Next For Holloway?

Before Holloway’s history-making performance, Ilia Topuria’s name had been briefly linked with Max in MMA news. Still, now, the Hawaiian has almost guaranteed to put himself in a position to make decisions on what’s next for him.

So, the question is, should Max Holloway drop back to the 145-pound featherweight division and challenge the newly crowned champ, Topuria, or remain as a lightweight and defend his “BMF” title?

There’s no need to debate these UFC rumors. The question has already been answered. After renaming the “Baddest Mother F*cker” title to “Blessed Man Forever,” Holloway called out Topuria. Topuria then responded, suggesting that Holloway would be his next challenge.

The MMA fan base will be excellent with Holloway holding onto the “BMF” title without defending it. It’s not a traditional championship, after all, as it takes a specific type of contender to earn the right to challenge for it.It’s almost certain that Holloway’s next fight will be against Topuria. This clash of titans promises to be another thrilling spectacle in the world of MMA. I’m confident that bettors won’t be too quick to underestimate the power of “Blessed” on the betting lines this time. What are your thoughts on this matchup?
