Shohei Ohtani might be the Los Angeles Dodgers’ highest-paid player but Mookie Betts is still a big deal. The former MVP remains one of the best players in the MLB and is getting some sweet perks. Popular artist Marko Terzo revealed on social media the custom Jordan sneaks he made specifically for Betts.

These are pretty rad as Terzo took pieces of an actual baseball and sewed them onto the sneakers. He was also able to get the Dodgers logo and Betts’ No. 50 on them. It’s hard to find gifts for somebody making over $30 million a year and this is definitely a smart way to do it.

Also, Betts is a huge star in one of the biggest markets so this is great marketing for Terzo’s work. It’ll be interesting to see if his work expands to more athletes now.

Mookie Betts Is off to Ridiculous Start
Right now is a great time to collaborate with Mookie Betts. He might be the best player in baseball right now. Even better than Ohtani, who dominated MLB rumors and MLB news all offseason. The Dodgers are also going to be featured heavily on national TV throughout the MLB schedule.

Betts is off to a red-hot start to the season. His batting average is a ridiculous .485 right now, which is the best in the MLB. He also leads the league with five home runs. It’s still early in the season but he’s definitely one of the favorites to win NL MVP so far.
Dream Team
It’s just a reminder of how crazy the Dodgers’ lineup is right now. Betts would be the biggest star on 90% of MLB teams but there will be nights where he’s the fourth or fifth-best player for the Dodgers. Winning an MVP with Freddie Freeman and Ohtani in the lineup would be quite the feat for Betts.
