“It is a visual representation of my journey in baseball, and I am excited to share it…” -Ohtani
In a sport like baseball where the players wear cleats, it’s not as easy for players to land lucrative shoe deals. However, not every player is Shohei Ohtani. The LA Dodgers star has quickly become the biggest name in baseball and landed a shoe deal with New Balance after signing with the team this offseason.

Ohtani is even getting his own signature logo, which was just revealed.
Every legendary athlete has their own logo so this is big Ohtani news. It features an image of him running around the bases. It’s a really classic style logo, which I can get behind. Perhaps this is good MLB news that could lead to shoe deals for other big-name players.
Ohtani Excited About New Logo
Shohei Ohtani’s stats with the LA Angels made a big deal since joining the MLB. Now that he’s with a much bigger brand, his star power is only rising. He’s personally really excited about dropping his new logo.

“To finally reveal this special logo that I’ve worked closely on is truly an exciting moment for me,” Ohtani said in a statement. “It is a visual representation of my journey in baseball, and I am excited to share it with the world. I also look forward to using this logo with future projects that we will reveal throughout the 2024 season.”
Ohtani dominated MLB rumors for the last year and he’s about to dominate the news cycle now that he’s a Dodger. He’s really good for baseball, and we’ll likely see his logo all over the place. It’ll be interesting to just how much his star power will continue to grow in Los Angeles. If he’s able to help lead the Dodgers to a World Series title, there will be no limits to how popular he’ll be.
