Down Bad, Thanks for Asking 🥶
He’s six-foot-everything, Slovakian, and my man in another life.
The 2025 NHL Playoffs are officially underway, and I’m going to be honest: I’m not here to break down the NHL playoff bracket. I’m here to help you identify which men to keep your eyes on if you like your hockey with a side of sweet, sweet face card.
We’ve got world-class athletes chasing the Cup. We’ve also got world-class hotties doing it. Here’s who you should absolutely be watching (for mostly non-hockey games reasons).
The Hottest NHL Players
Juraj Slafkovský – Canadiens
If you were wondering what kind of man I’d want to find under my tree on Christmas morning, it’s Juraj Slafkovský. The Canadiens snuck into the playoffs as a Wild Card and are facing the Capitals, but I’m watching for Slafkovský, not the outcome. He’s six-foot-everything, Slovakian, and my man in another life.

Connor McDavid – Oilers
Hey Connor, me again. Just checking in to say I still think you’re hot, hot, hot. Edmonton’s matched up against the Kings right now, and McDavid’s doing McDavid things—fast, skilled, locked in. And no, I’m not taking comments on the hairline. What I feel is between me and my hunk Connor.

Josh Anderson – Canadiens
If you love a sweet face that also makes you blush, you’ll love Josh Anderson like I love Josh Anderson. Still one of the best-looking men on skates. The fact that his nickname is “Powerhorse” is definitely not lost on me, ladies. Montreal might not go deep this year, but I’ll be watching anyway (we know this).

Tom Wilson – Capitals
Tom Wilson has that early-2000s-hot that feels vaguely threatening. Dark hair, blue eyes, jawline that’s definitely been used for evil. He’s also now facing the Canadiens in Round 1, meaning one of the hottest series of the playoffs is already happening, baby! Here’s to hoping he uses that jaw for good one day.

Leon Draisaitl – Oilers
If you close your eyes and picture a stereotypical hockey player, you probably end up with Leon Draisaitl. Built like a fridge, ginger, hot, always kind of frowning. He’s currently helping the Oilers try to bury the Kings in Round 1, and I can’t look away. He’s got playoff face. That’s a real thing, I’ve decided.
@hockeyvidss#LEONDRAISAITL the only oilers player you will see on this acc 🙂↕️ ִֶָ☾. clips: hockey.scp audio: mlisaudios ִֶָ☾. tags: #leondraisaitledit #leondraisaitledits #leondraisaitl29 #edmontonoilers #hockey #hockeyedit #hockeyedits #NHL #nhledit #nhledits #edit #edits #fy #fyp♬ original sound – 𝓛 ¹³

Hot Guys, Brutal Matchups
This year’s bracket is doing what it needs to do. Leafs vs. Senators. Oilers vs. Kings. Hurricanes vs. Devils. Canadiens vs. Capitals. If you like to watch hot men do hot men things and throw hands, it’s a good year to be alive.
You can keep up with the NHL rumors and dig into things like Connor McDavid stats, but I’ll be tracking vibes, helmet hair, and bench close-ups. Happy playoffs to all who observe. May your team win, and your favorite player stay hot. 🙏
