One of basketball’s all time greats joined the billionaire club as Magic Johnson continues to be one of the most successful athletes turned entrepreneurs. That list of billionaire athletes is made up of three NBA players (Magic, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan) along with golfer Tiger Woods. We discuss how Magic was able to be so successful while also exploring what advantages American players might have on the path to billionaire status.
We won’t be hearing any NBA trade rumors anymore as James Harden is finally out of Philly and the Sixers are better off for it. He’s back in his hometown of Los Angeles playing with the Clippers. On paper, they look like they have the makings of a super team. The game is not played on paper and the combination of egos as well as injury history might hold this team back.
Tyson Fury was supposed to dominate Francis Ngannou in a boxing match, or at least that’s what boxing rumors said. Considering that Ngannou isn’t a boxer, that’s what the world assumed would happen. Fury was as much as a -1200 favorite but that’s not how things turned out. The decision says he won but fans that watched the fight tend to disagree.
