Will Danny Boy replace Checo Perez next?
BREAKING F1 news! Nyck De Vries is sh*te!
But you already knew that, as it was just a matter of time before the Alpha Tauri driver would receive the boot, and that time has come.
Australian F1 fans rejoice because Daniel Ricciardo is back! The eight-time Grand Prix winner previously lived up to the Aussie lingo of ‘going down under,’ quite literally, as disappointing results with McLaren resulted in his release in 2022.
But as you may have heard in the latest F1 rumors, he’s returning to the grid for Alpha Tauri from the Red Bulls reserve list. Why? Because a one-legged army veteran could perform better than Nyck, as Alpha, the sister team of Red Bull, has called in a favor.

Red Bull: It chops your wings
Back in my day, Red Bull was nothing more than a funny-tasting energy drink. The slogan was: ‘Red Bull, It Gives You Wings.’
However, it would seem the savage bastards operating the sister team of Red Bull (Alpha Tauri) are chopping the wings with no f*cks given, as they’ve cut De Vries after ten races of his rookie season.
Yes, he was bad, but I guess the expectations of the 28-year-old Dutchman were too high because he collected zero points, and his best finish this season was twelfth.
Watch your back, Perez
These ruthless mother f*ckers at Red Bull will cut anyone, anytime, anywhere. An underperforming Sergio Perez has failed to make Q3 in five straight races and has consistently finished low on the grid with a car capable of finishing first and second in every race. He currently trails his domineering teammate Max Verstappen by 99 points. Bad news for the F1 fans of betting online…
With a potential resurgence of Daniel Ricciardo brimming, don’t be surprised if he replaces Perez if the Mexican doesn’t pull his finger out. The Aussie just nailed a Red Bull tire test at Silverstone with a lap time that was a mere 0.7 seconds off Verstappen’s pole position.

Remember when Christian Horner, team principal at Red Bull, said of Albon, who was also struggling like Perez is now: “We need to be patient with him, and we’ll put an arm around his shoulder and make sure he feels he’s got the support.” Well, that ended with Albon being released at the end of the season.
Horner has commented with an eerily similar sentiment regarding Perez: “He’s the type of guy that just needs an arm around his shoulder, and you work with him.” Don’t trust these mofos, Perez.
