Rookie Mistake 🤣
Tyson should’ve seen it coming because Mitchell was eating popcorn on the Cavaliers’ bench…
The vibes around the Cleveland Cavaliers are excellent right now. They have the best record in NBA games this season and just got their second 15-game winning streak of the season.
However, rookie Jaylon Tyson probably isn’t smiling after the mess Donovan Mitchell made of his car. Apparently, the Cavaliers players take turns bringing the team donuts but Tyson forgot that it was his turn recently. Instead of having him make it up, Mitchell made sure the rookie won’t mess up again.
The Scene of Crime
Following the Cavaliers win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, Tyson arrived at his car and it was filled with popcorn.

Tyson should’ve seen it coming because Mitchell was eating popcorn on the Cavaliers’ bench during Wednesday’s game. I have a hard time imagining Tyson will ever forget to bring donuts again. It’s gotta be rough to play a basketball game and then come to a car that’s filled with popcorn. That’s the last thing I’d want to deal with.
Luckily, the Cavaliers are so good right now that it’s hard to be mad.
Is This the Cavaliers’ Year?
The Cavaliers are now part of NBA history after becoming just the sixth team to have multiple 15-game winning streaks in one season. Despite that, the team’s odds to win the NBA Finals aren’t that great.

NBA news shows also don’t seem to buy them as a real threat to the Celtics. That’s largely because the Cavaliers had a chance to play the Celtics in the playoffs last year and fell apart.
Boston is widely considered the favorite to win again. However, the Cavaliers do have a new head coach this season Kenny Atkinson who appears to be the real deal.
Sounds like you should’ve brought the donuts, @jaylontyson. :/ #LetEmKnow

The NBA is hard because it’s hard to believe in a team before they actually get to the championship. Until Cleveland does that, people and NBA rumors are going to look at them as if they’re second-fiddle to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
