Enough Is Enough!

Whatever it takes for him to be on the floor and available, that’s what’s gotta happen. – Steph Curry

Everybody, I’m here to tell you that it’s over. The Golden State Warriors as we know them are cooked. The dynasty is over. While there are many reasons why it’s finally crashing down, I think Draymond Green’s inability to keep his emotions in check has totally derailed this team.

That was on full display during last night’s Warriors game against the Orlando Magic. Though Golden State won, Green was ejected just four minutes into the game for arguing with an official.

It’s his fourth ejection of the season, which is the worst a player has been ejected in a season since Kevin Durant in 2017-18. Perhaps the most memorable Draymond Green stats will involve his ejections from NBA games. He has 19 in his career and is closing in on the record of 25 set by Rasheed Wallace.

Steph Curry Is Fed Up

Look, we all know who Draymond Green is at this point and it’s no surprise that he continues to cause issues. Despite all of his antics, Steph Curry and the Warriors have stood by him but it seems like they could be getting fed up.

Green’s latest ejection led Curry to the point where he appeared to be tearing up.

Green made the greatest player in franchise history cry! That’s rough to watch.

“All I’ll say is we need him,” Curry said after the game. “He knows that. We all know that. So whatever it takes for him to be on the floor and available, that’s what’s gotta happen. Especially at this point of the year.”

It really sounds like Curry is starting to get fed up with Green. He should be. Green has been a constant headache all season.

The Warriors are currently battling just to be in the play-in tournament and Green is aware of how important every game is. Getting ejected in the first quarter of an important game is classic Green behavior.

Honestly, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see the NBA news of another Draymond Green suspension before the season is over. At this point in his career, Green isn’t going to change so the Warriors need to either live with it or rip off the Band-Aid.
