BigFace, Big Moves

That’s right, Jimmy Butler coffee fans, rejoice!

Jimmy Butler: NBA star, wannabe country singer, emo king, and now, official coffee shop owner. If you’ve been keeping up with NBA news or Jimmy’s endless hobbies, you already know his coffee brand, BigFace, started as a quirky $20-a-cup side hustle during the 2020 NBA bubble. Fast forward a few years, and boom—it’s an empire with a shiny new storefront.

BigFace Goes Big

That’s right, Jimmy Butler coffee fans, rejoice! BigFace by Jimmy Butler opened its doors on December 6 in the Miami Design District. And let’s be real, only Jimmy could turn a hotel room coffee gig into a futuristic café serving espresso for $4 and pour-overs for $10. Fun fact: the name “BigFace” came from Butler hoping his teammates would pay with hundred-dollar bills (classic Jimmy).

The grand opening wasn’t just a regular ribbon-cutting. Oh no, this was a moment. According to Axios Miami, Jimmy threw a party packed with A-listers—DJ Khaled, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pogba, Kevin Love, and Brandon Jennings all showed up. And the shop itself? Total vibe check: silver industrial bar, outdoor courtyard, stadium seating, and merch galore, including BigFace hockey jerseys and barista gear.

Jimmy’s NBA Season

But let’s talk basketball for a second. Sure, the Jimmy Butler stats are still strong, but at 35, the whispers about Miami potentially moving on from their star forward are getting louder. Two NBA Finals and three Conference Finals since 2020 are impressive, but no championship means some fans and even former players (looking at you, Paul Pierce) are wondering if Jimmy’s time with the Miami Heat is winding down.

But if Jimmy ever does step back from NBA games, he’ll be fine—more than fine. Between running BigFace and dabbling in music (seriously, when’s the country album dropping?), he’s set for post-basketball life. For now, though, he’s still killing it in NBA games and outside of them. Whatever’s next, you already know it’ll be iconic.
