Dunk the Halls
Something about basketball this time of year feels right…
It’s Christmas time and the NBA continues to be all about Christmas. One of the most popular sports ads ever was the Jingle Hoops spot from 2013. The ad featured Steph Curry, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and Steve Nash shooting baskets that are fit with bells and they recreated the famous Jingle Bells song by shooting baskets.

LeBron James even comes at the end for a cameo. For the last decade, the NBA hasn’t tried to recreate the magic from that ad but it’s coming back, which is some fun NBA news for the holidays. The NBA revealed the newest version of Jingle Hoops but this time, it’s animated.
🎅🎶 Jingle Hoops is back, and the squad’s still got more range than your holiday Wi-Fi.

This time around, the ad features animated versions of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Jayson Tatum shooting hoops. There’s so much negativity surrounding the NBA all the time that it’s nice to have some wholesome fun.
Christmas NBA Is the Best
This is the time of year when the NBA thrives. Something about basketball this time of year feels right. The NFL is trying to take over the holidays but the NBA has been a Christmas product for so long. NBA Christmas games are a staple for many American households on the big day.

The first chunk of the season always feels a bit underwhelming. It doesn’t feel like real NBA games start getting played until the holidays. The fact that the NBA Cup is happening right now only adds to that. Here’s hoping we get some great games this holiday season.
