All About the Money 💸
Monopoly, though, holds a special place in American pop culture.
LeBron James is in NBA news not just for collecting records on the court—he’s now got his own Monopoly game to his name. That’s right, Nike just dropped a Monopoly-themed LeBron 22 collection, complete with a pair of sneakers and a customized board game, thanks to a surprise crossover with Hasbro.
Who would’ve thought that LeBron, the king of NBA games, and Monopoly would make such a dynamic duo? But if you think about it, it’s actually a fitting move for someone often touted as the GOAT. After all, Monopoly is all about domination, and LeBron knows a thing or two about that.

An Elite Group
This Nike x Hasbro collaboration isn’t the first time the sportswear giant has tapped into board game nostalgia. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Zoom Freak 3 got the Uno treatment last year, proving that Nike loves adding a playful edge to its kicks. Monopoly, though, holds a special place in American pop culture. Nike’s choice to celebrate its 90th anniversary through a LeBron collection feels like a nod to LeBron’s iconic status in the basketball world and beyond.
The Nike LeBron 22 “Monopoly” is set to release on November 15th 🎲

According to Complex, the Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22 collection features two bold colorways, aptly named “Currency” and “Token.” The “Currency” style drops on November 15, while the blue “Token” colorway will be released on November 19, each for a price tag of $200. However, the actual board game isn’t going to be sold.
Giving Back to the Community
And as if that wasn’t enough to make fans want to roll the dice, Nike and Hasbro are going all out to commemorate the launch. LeBron’s House Three Thirty community center in Akron, Ohio, is set to host a Monopoly Day on November 19, complete with a special-edition Monopoly board and collab merchandise for attendees.

This crossover isn’t just for sneakerheads or Monopoly buffs—it’s for anyone who loves a good dose of nostalgia, NBA odds, and NBA picks, with a side of competitive spirit. And with the legendary LeBron James stats, it’s no surprise they chose him for this iconic collab.
