LeBron and Savannah’s relationship is the kind of thing that feels like an anomaly these days.
LeBron James calling into his wife Savannah’s podcast and going full “Sexy Santa” was not on my holiday bingo card, but here we are. Savannah and her co-host April McDaniel were hosting a holiday special on Everybody’s Crazy when a certain caller from Akron, Ohio surprised everyone. The moment LeBron hit her with that smooth voice, the room collectively needed a fan.
Savannah immediately dubbed him “Sexy Santa” because obviously, LeBron wasted no time turning the flirt up to 11. When she asked about his “holiday crazy,” LeBron wasted no time and said she was his holiday crazy. Cue Savannah’s fake-annoyed side-eye, and not because she wasn’t charmed. No, Savannah loves Christmas. So when LeBron—who has spent most Christmases playing in packed arenas—put it back on her, the irony wasn’t lost on anyone.

Unfortunately, Savannah’s love language is quality time, and she married LeBron freaking James. The man has played in 17 Christmas NBA games over 22 seasons, adding to some of the most impressive LeBron James stats we’ve seen in his career. He’s set to play his 18th this year against Steph Curry and the Warriors. It’s like the universe saw Savannah’s holiday spirit and said, “Oh, you thought?” While most families are opening presents together, Savannah’s left alone while LeBron’s busy boosting NBA news ratings.

Holiday Crazy and Retirement Goals
LeBron and Savannah’s relationship is the kind of thing that feels like an anomaly these days. High school sweethearts, three kids, and still flirting on podcasts? No wonder people are obsessed with them. They’re fun, they’re cute, and they somehow make it all look easy—even though we know it isn’t.

On the podcast, Savannah mentioned her idea of a wild Christmas celebration after LeBron’s retirement. To which LeBron replied, “If we’re gonna have a lit Christmas, why even go to sleep the night before?” And honestly, if anyone deserves that, it’s LeBron James’ wife.
That said, am I ready for LeBron to retire? NO. The league without him feels like some alternate timeline I want no part of. But if retirement means Savannah gets her quality time and we get the James family Christmas Instagram post we deserve, I’ll cope.
