Colorado Steals the Spotlight
We’re 4-1 right now going into the break, and I’m so excited. – Coach Prime
It’s hard to argue that Coach Prime is box office, continuously making college football news. I went down to Orlando for a major Big 12 showdown as UCF hosted Colorado.
It turns out Coach Prime’s squad was the only one ready for primetime. The stars showed out with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Paolo Banchero, Brandon Marshall, and Jalen Suggs among the celebrities in attendance.

Fox Sports’ Big Noon Kickoff, began the morning with thousands of UCF fans packing Memorial Mall on the Knights’ campus. The challenge is the UCF team did not show up in the same way.

Heisman Hopes Soar!
As for the actual game, Travis Hunter had himself a day dominating on both sides of the ball.
Hunter posted nine receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. The two-way playmaker also added an interception and hit the UCF student section with the Heisman pose after the play.
The Buffs moved to 4-1 heading into their bye, and we just know Colorado is going to continue being a major story with the upcoming college football games as long as Deion Sanders is in Boulder.
Travis Hunter has played nearly 100 plays on offense and defense today.
He has 7 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown at wide receiver and he just hit the Heisman pose after an interception at cornerback.

After the bye, Colorado has another marquee matchup against Kansas State.
We comin’ (said Coach Prime probably).
Sanders’ Interceptions Still an Issue
Shedeur Sanders showed out in his dad’s home state of Florida. Sanders threw for 290 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception while completing an amazing 80% of his passes versus UCF.

It was the one interception that was on his pop’s mind as he exited the press conference. With his son coming to the podium, Coach Prime encouraged reporters to ask Sanders about his interception as he exited the building.
Coach Prime Does It His Way
In all my years of covering sports, I have not seen a press conference quite like Coach Prime’s. The Colorado coach entered the presser with multiple bodyguards, a camera crew, and several Orlando police officers with their hands on their holsters just in case any threats arose.
#CoachPrime on #UCF HC Gus Malzahn: “Utmost respect for Coach Malzahn. He keeps me going. Keeps me on my toes. What he’s accomplished and what he’s brought to college football is phenomenal. The way he started, the things he’s gone through.”#ChargeOn #GKCO #GoBuffs pic.twitter.com/2nSHkGvF4X

When you have the resume of Coach Prime’s stats, you deserve to have an entourage if that’s what you want. If the former NFL legend keeps winning, there are sure to be plenty of college football rumors about where Coach Prime could coach next.
“Say it again. I just wanted to hear y’all say it [Colorado’s record] collectively and you all fell for it,” Coach Prime said after the win over UCF, per BuffZone.com. “We’re 4-1 right now going into the break, and I’m so excited. You have no idea. It’s gonna be really good plane ride tonight.”
