Catch and Bounce
If I would’ve gone somewhere else I could’ve got a major amount of money. – Travis Hunter
Travis Hunter has been making college football news for two years now, and he is considered one of the most outstanding two-way collegiate football players in decades. But a recent clip of Hunter hooping it up has fans insisting he could be the starting point guard for the Colorado Buffaloes this season!
Human Highlight Reel
NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Williams has often been referred to as the Human Highlight Reel, but the former Atlanta Hawks superstar better scooch over just a bit and make room for the HHR 2.0, Travis Hunter. If you’re unfamiliar with the name, then you’re probably not a college football fan, which is fine; we have room for everyone here.
But if you want to see an athletic freak, just Google Travis Hunter highlights, and you’ll come up with pages of eye-popping performances. You see, Travis Hunter’s stats not only reveal him as one of the most electric wide receivers in the game, but he’s equally as impressive in the Buffaloes defensive backfield as one of their starting cornerbacks. College football games in Boulder have never been so electric.

There have even been several college football rumors swirling about Hunter’s 2024-2025 Heisman trophy odds, even though the last time a player on an unranked team won college football’s most coveted award was back in 1969 when some dude named Steve Ownes did it while playing for Oklahoma. But if anyone can rewrite the college record books, this 6’1” tower of power from Suwanee, Georgia, can.
And if all of that’s not jaw-dropping enough, a recent clip of him on the basketball court has people losing their ever-loving sh*t. It’s clear that his elite athleticism and quickness on the gridiron seamlessly translate to the hardcourt. Although it’s a bit of a stretch to argue that a one-minute clip proves he can be a big-time D-1 baller, I wouldn’t put it past him.
Could Travis Hunter start at PG for Colorado? 👀🦬

Thanks, Coach Prime
Perhaps what makes Travis Hunter so appealing is that he’s not only a force of nature on the playing field; he’s also got a likable personality and is quick to flash his million-watt smile.
Moreover, there’s no question the young man is loyal to a fault, spurning offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan, before flipping his commitment to Florida State to follow Deion Sanders to FCS Jackson State.
By the way, it was the first time a five-star recruit had ever signed with an HBCU or FCS school. And if you listen to him, you soon realize he wouldn’t change a thing. He was recently asked about NIL opportunities elsewhere, and here’s what Hunter had to say.

Coach Prime may steal the headlines off the field, but the dynamic duo of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter is making history on it.
