GameDay King 👑
Timothée Chalamet contains multitudes, y’all, and we love the duality!
Timothée Chalamet is a sports guy. Surprised? Same. For someone with a public persona that screams pretty, bookish, and fashion-forward, Chalamet doesn’t exactly give off jock vibes. But apparently, the Dune star has been harboring a love for sports all along—and now he’s the subject of celebrity news and college football news, thanks to his jaw-dropping stint on ESPN’s College GameDay this past Saturday.
Let’s rewind. Chalamet’s newfound status as a football analysis savant kicked off when he appeared as a guest picker on the show, a role previously filled by the likes of Will Ferrell, Drew Brees, and Condoleezza Rice. Fans weren’t prepared for Chalamet to absolutely crush it with his NCAAF predictions. The internet—and the commentators—were left stunned.

Touchdown Timmy
For his first pick, Chalamet confidently chose Jackson State over Southern in the SWAC. “I’m going Jackson State—eight wins in a row, 11 all-conference players. It should be a comfortable, easy win for them,” he declared. He then predicted an Ohio Bobcats victory over the Miami RedHawks in the MAC. “These teams are two and two in the last four matchups,” Chalamet explained. “The RedHawks’ defense looks good, but I’m looking at fourth-year Bobcats quarterback Parker Navarro. 65% completion rate. If he can get going, he’ll tilt this in favor of the Bobcats.”

Cue Pat McAfee’s approval pat and a solid handshake. “Yes. I love that,” McAfee cheered.
The internet collectively lost its mind. The same guy who rocks backless Haider Ackermann halter tops on red carpets and stars in Timothée Chalamet movies like Call Me By Your Name just dropped flawless football stats on live TV? The juxtaposition is chef’s kiss. And guess what? Chalamet’s predictions were spot-on. The Bobcats steamrolled the RedHawks 38–3, with Navarro scoring four touchdowns. Even Glenn Powell, a Texas Longhorns superfan, shared a photo of Chalamet throwing up the Longhorns sign and captioning it, “Give us the trophy. Give him the Oscar.”

One of Us
This isn’t Chalamet’s first brush with sports, though. Before becoming a Hollywood heartthrob, he played soccer in school and even coached kids during summers in France.
So, whether he’s casually dominating football analysis, starring in a Bob Dylan biopic, or stirring up celebrity rumors with Kylie Jenner, one thing is certain— Timothée Chalamet contains multitudes, y’all, and we love the duality! And if you’re into college football betting odds, I’d start taking some advice from Mr. Chalamet!
