Secure The Bag! 💰
I guess this is what charging $40 for a burrito and $50 for a Yeti gets you…
The latest NFL news reveals Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is printing money. The only problem is that money does not seem to be going back to the roster.
According to Statista, the Cowboys were the most profitable sports franchise in the world, and it was not even close. Dallas brought in $564 million in operating income in 2024, per the study.
I guess this is what charging $40 for a burrito and $50 for a Yeti gets you. In other words, the Cowboys made about $80 million per win for the 2024 season.
Dallas nearly doubled the next team on the list. The Los Angeles Rams came in a distant second at $286 million.
NHL Franchise Edmonton Oilers Are More Profitable Than You Think
Fans may be surprised to learn that NHL games may be more profitable than either the NBA or MLB. The Edmonton Oilers were the most profitable NHL franchise at $213 million.
This topped the NBA’s most profitable team. You guessed it, the Los Angeles Lakers made $199 million putting the Lake Show inside the top five most profitable sports franchises on the planet.
Can’t wait to see what the 2025 books look like after stealing Luka Doncic.
Where Is the Money, Jerruh?
So, all this begs the question, where is the money going Mr. Jones? Sure, you crushed it in on “Landman,” but there’s been too much bargain shopping for all that money to be coming into Big D.

The Cowboys had more than $20 million in cap space that went unused in 2024. Meanwhile, your division rivals up in Philly won the Super Bowl by being aggressive.
The Eagles are trading up in drafts, they are aggressive in free agency and willing to strike trades. If leading the league in segments on ESPN’s “First Take” counted for anything, the Cowboys would be perennial champions.
#Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is one hell of an actor! I didn’t see this one coming… I could take a jab at this, but low-key, he said some powerful words that every father should live by. #Landman pic.twitter.com/NzHLuMXo9P

Instead, the Cowboys managed to miss the NFL playoffs. Did we mention Dallas hired an assistant from the staff of a coach the Cowboys decided to get rid of this offseason?
Never a dull moment in Jerry’s world.
There’s a reason why the Cowboys are nowhere near the contenders in the NFL betting odds for 2026.
