A Big Rivalry Over the Years🔥
It was far closer than Sunday’s game, but Philly500 was crowned the winner…
The NFL rumors about the rivalries in the NFC East being so heated are definitely true from my experience. It’s hard to top the passion found in those classic matchups in the NFC East like the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles. Those teams made NFL news by meeting for the first time this season in Week 10, and BetUS TV had it covered with an episode of Football Feud to determine who is the biggest true fan.
Host Kyle Purviance oversaw the battle between Dallas fan Mark Holmes (@CowboyJobu) and Philadelphia fan Philly500 (@YoPhilly500). Whoever scored more points between the Validation Round, Trivia Round, Debate Round, and Q&A Round was crowned the winner.

We know the Eagles ended up dusting the Cowboys 34-6 on Sunday, but let’s review the tape of Mark and Philly500 as it’d be more fun than going over Cooper Rush’s stats or asking why the Cowboys roster doesn’t have a better running back than Ezekiel Elliott in the Year 2024.
Validation Round
Mark won the coin toss and let Philly500 go first. But that may have backfired as Philly500 started strong right out of the gate by saying he came out of his mother’s womb an Eagles fan, and he had to endure some tough seasons before they finally won a Super Bowl in 2018.

Mark said he’d been a Dallas fan before there was a bandwagon, but it didn’t help when he tried to articulate that he couldn’t remember the team’s first Super Bowl, which was an ugly loss to the 1970 Colts.
Philly500 took this round.
Trivia Round
In the Trivia Round, Philly500 went 4-of-5 on his questions, but he was too quick to answer how many NFC Championship Games Donovan McNabb started. Had he used more of the 2:00 clock, he probably would have answered five instead of saying four.

Mark was originally 3-of-5, but his score was later corrected to 4-of-5 as he was right in saying Jimmy Johnson was the coach during Troy Aikman’s 1989 rookie season. However, Mark blew it when he said Michael Irvin was Dallas’ all-time leading receiver instead of Jason Witten, who had more catches and yards.

Debate Round
For the Debate Round, Philly500 had the easier job of explaining why his Eagles should win against a Dallas team missing Dak Prescott. Most NFL picks favored the Eagles by a touchdown.
I thought for sure Mark would get some votes when he said “I might take you a little more seriously if you weren’t so damn blurry, man” but Philly500 got 82% of the fan vote to win this round too. I would have gone the other way as it’s easy to say Dallas should win, but it’s valid to point out that the Eagles aren’t winning NFL games against top teams.

Q&A Round
In answering various questions, Mark won the round by pointing out the return of Micah Parsons being important to Dallas, and that coach Mike McCarthy’s impact is always going to be limited by owner Jerry Jones. Philly500 was fair to not be all in or against coach Nick Sirianni, and the Eagles could use another edge rusher.
The Winner
It was far closer than Sunday’s game, but Philly500 was crowned the winner. Guess it’s all Philadelphia right now in this rivalry.
