Is Tom Brady’s $375M Contract With Fox Really Over?

According to David Samson, Tom Brady Won’t Return Next Season as an Analyst

375 Million Reasons to Stay at Fox

So enjoy Tom in the booth because you are not going to see him next year. – David Samson

Tom Brady’s Fox contract has once again become a subject of debate with some taking issue with the former quarterback’s involvement as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, David Samson is here to let everyone know Brady will not be back as a Fox analyst.

This according to the former MLB exec who has suddenly become an expert on the NFL media landscape. Here’s what our new friend Samson had to say about Brady’s future while creating a lot of NFL news.

“Guess what, Tom Brady is running that team right now,” Samson said on The Dan Le Batard Show, per Awful Announcing. “And the NFL knows it. And Fox knows it. Something has got to give. So enjoy Tom in the booth because you are not going to see him next year. He will be in the Raiders front office. He will not return as an analyst for Fox. You cannot be this involved in the operation of a team and be the No. 1 analyst. It is an absolute insult to analysts what he is doing.

“And it’s an insult to team presidents what he is doing. You end up doing both of them in a mediocre way. I promise you, he will choose the Raiders. Tom Brady will not be with Fox next season. He will be full-time in the Raiders front officer running that team.”

Sorry, Tom Brady Is Not Giving Up on His $375 Million Contract

This Samson guy has big feelings about Brady’s announcing gig. Did we just find Greg Olsen’s new agent? Also, is no one going to say anything about this guy sitting in a giant baseball glove during the interview?

Apparently this guy is insulted on behalf of all team presidents. I imagine most execs have bigger problems to worry about than if Brady is on the call for the Cowboys-Browns game.

For Brady’s part, the star has $375 million reasons to keep the Fox gig as long as possible. Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, and we’re being led to believe he’s going to give this up after just one season of calling NFL games.

Yes, Tom Brady’s Raiders involvement will continue to be a thing, but I can’t imagine it’s going to cost the legendary QB his job. I’d say the NFL betting odds are on Brady being back in the booth in 2025.

Something tells me Brady is just a bit more powerful than Samson.
