My Name Is Raphael 🐢
I’m betting these shoes sell out in 45 seconds online…
In recent NBA news, LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops just teamed up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a sneaker collab. Four designs inspired by everyone’s favorite mutant reptiles are dropping throughout February, and if you’ve ever wanted TMNT-themed kicks, this is your moment. Or at least it’s your moment if you’re fast enough to snag a pair before resellers clear out Foot Locker.

The first shoe, the MB.01 “Baxter Stockman,” drops February 1, followed by the MB.04 “Donatello & Raphael” on February 8. Then there’s the MB.04 “Leonardo & Michelangelo” on February 14, and then finally, the MB.03 “Krang” on February 22. If you’re keeping track, that’s four pairs to complete the set—and if you somehow pull that off, PUMA will give you the MB.04 “Shredder” for free. Only 444 of those exist, which is sneakerhead code for “good freaking luck.”
PUMA officially revealed the LaMelo Ball x TMNT collection 🐢 🥋
The “Shredder” MB.04 is just 1/444 – exclusively available for free by grabbing all four other pairs 👀

Face of the Hornets and PUMA
Let’s take a minute to talk about LaMelo Ball, who’s doing more for the Hornets than the Hornets are doing for the Hornets. The team’s sitting at 11-29, struggling to stay competitive in NBA games, but LaMelo is doing his part, putting up LaMelo Ball stats with 31.1 points per game.
That’s the second-highest scoring average in the league, behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo. He’s basically the face of the franchise at this point, and now he’s carrying PUMA on his back too.
The TMNT collab is peak Melo. It’s flashy, a little chaotic, and definitely not for everyone, but it works. The designs include 5D-printed alien tentacle graphics, hidden “1 of 1” branding, and some kind of spaceship on the outsole.
And let’s not forget the promo video, where LaMelo straight-faced says his name is “Raphael.” If you’re not buying into the hype yet, just imagine resellers sprinting to Foot Locker to scoop up four pairs at once. By the way, if you’re into NBA betting odds, I’m betting these shoes sell out in 45 seconds online.

The collection ranges from $115-$135 and will be available at Foot Locker, Champs, and PUMA.com. Whether you’re there for the TMNT nostalgia or just to flex LaMelo Ball shoes on Instagram, one thing’s for sure: PUMA and Melo are laughing all the way to the bank.
