Hoping for a Trip to the Super Bowl 🏈

This might be the best time ever to be a Lions fan.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is officially viral. His iconic headstand celebration has taken over as fans try to recreate it.

We’ve seen the Detroit Pistons mascot try it, a fan made a snowman sculpture of the celebration and a baker even baked a cake to honor St. Brown.

Even drones recreated the headstand celebration. This might be the best time ever to be a Lions fan. The team has been bottom dwellers for decades but is now one of the best teams in the NFL.

St. Brown may be from Southern California but he’s totally embraced Detroit and the Lions fan base. From dying his hair blue for the playoffs to creating iconic celebrations, he’s got to be one of the most loved athletes in Michigan right now. Even for people who have no connection to Detroit or the Lions, it’s hard not to root for them.

Lions Could Make First Super Bowl

The hype behind the Lions in NFL news circles is the biggest it has ever been. The 15 NFL games they won this season were the best in franchise history.

Even despite all these rumors about injury issues, the Lions still continue to win and a lot of betting odds think they’re the favorite to win the Super Bowl. Many NFL picks and predictions also think they can do enough to make it happen.

If they make it happen, there may be an argument that the Lions are the new America’s team. The Dallas Cowboys like to claim that title for themselves but pretty much everybody who isn’t a Cowboys fan hates the team.

You’d have a hard time finding people who hate the Lions who aren’t Packers, Bears, or Vikings fans. They would only become more loved if they were able to take down the evil empire that is the Kansas City Chiefs. If they beat them in the Super Bowl, they might be the most popular Super Bowl winner ever.
