Steve Smith vs Jerry Jeudy
So Steve Smith does what he always has and tells it like it is. What he said about Jerry Jeudy is true, Where Smith messed up was making it personal. The fact that Jeudy did the same thing is also wrong but he’s 24 years old, Smith is 44 and is the veteran that is supposed to lead by example. To his credit, as the situation began to escalate, Smith said he’s too old to get into any kind of physical altercation with Jeudy that would ultimately cost him his job. We’ll see how it goes as the NFL schedule unfolds.
Kareem Jackson Needs to Learn Or Leave
The NFL has suspended Kareem Jackson for four games due to repeat violations to the league’s safety policy. I do understand Jackson’s dilemma; he’s been in the league for 13 years and was taught to play football a different way. He’s been this player his entire career and used to be celebrated for it. Now in the second half of his career he’s being suspended for the same thing.
Logan Paul Fights Are A Disgrace to Boxing
It would be nice as a boxing fan if Paul (and Dillon Danis too) could take the sport more seriously and actually fight someone that might give him a challenge. Until then, Logan Paul fights are a disgrace to boxing.
Roger Goodell Ain’t Going Nowhere
Love him or hate him, Roger Goodell makes NFL owners richer every year. As long as he does that, he’ll keep getting his contract renewed. It’s amazing that an asshole like him will make over $700 million during his time as commissioner but top running backs can’t get fair market value. Go figure.
Sixers Told Harden Thanks, But No Thanks
So James Harden decided to report back to Philly so he can travel with the team for their games in Milwaukee and Toronto. The team told him thanks but no thanks we don’t want your b*tch @ss traveling with us. Good for Philly taking control back over this situation. Now it’s time for them to get serious and get this diva out of Philadelphia.
