MVP Lamar 🤩

Jackson decided to go supernova and put together a masterpiece in the second half…

There’s no denying that the Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most consistent NFL teams over the past several years. However, they’ve had trouble getting over the hump. Lamar Jackson is likely about to make big NFL news by winning his second MVP but nobody cares about those awards if he can’t get it done in the playoffs.

There was a narrative starting to brew about Jackson folding the playoffs. Before this season, he was 1-3 with three touchdown passes and five interceptions. Those aren’t great numbers. However, Jackson may have finally silenced the doubters.

Here’s a look at some Super Bowl odds to consider!

The Ravens went into the second half of their playoff game against the Houston Texans tied 10-10. Jackson decided to go supernova and put together a masterpiece in the second half. While only threw for 152 passing yards but had four total touchdowns to go with another 100 rushing yards. The Texans had no answer for him in the second half.

The Texans aren’t exactly the Chiefs but they were one of the hottest teams in the NFL. The Ravens completely dismantling them is a good sign regarding their Super Bowl chances. The Ravens dominated regular season NFL games and now they’ve proven they can dominate in the playoffs.

I think it’s time to consider the Ravens as the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The 49ers looked shaky against the Packers and don’t look like much of a powerhouse. Plus, Baltimore crushed them in the regular season.

The Ravens also have a Super Bowl-winning head coach John Harbaugh so he knows what it takes to win. Home-field advantage in the AFC Championship game will only help things. This will be the first time in Jackson’s career that he’s made it to the AFC Championship game but he’s got a lot of positive momentum right now.

Jackson has no NFL rumors about his contract lingering over his head right now so he can solely focus on football. This just feels like it’s the Ravens’ year. There are still some tough games ahead for the team but if Jackson is going to be making so many plays through the air and on the ground, it’s hard to see a team stopping them.
