Real Madrid must be living in the dreamland that they’re still one of the dominant clubs…
Dear Paris Saint Germain and Kylian Mbappé, the clock is ticking. Are you in or out?
No f*cking around; Real Madrid is no longer playing games in their pursuit of the French superstar striker. According to a report from the Spanish publication AS, if Mbappé has not decided to join Real Madrid by 15 January, they will shift their focus elsewhere, and the alternative is just as exciting.

The USA defeated China, AGAIN…
You know how I feel about Megan Rapinoe, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate women’s USA soccer, as our beloved Stars and Stripes are topping the USWNT news this week following a second successive win against China.
And let’s be completely honest here: I’m not the political type, but anytime the U.S.A. can get one-up on China, it’s a reason to celebrate.

In Texas, the USWNT overcame a deficit to defeat China 2-1 in a friendly. Coffey, who replaced Sauerbrunn at No. 4 for the match, scored her first international goal for the Stars and Stripes with an emphatic curling strike. Then, in her first USWNT appearance, Jaedyn Shaw scored the game-winning goal to solidify the evening for Twila Kilgore's squad.
Ok, it was only a friendly, but read my lips: “The USA defeated China, AGAIN.” yeah, that’s right.

One of the biggest matches in the team’s history…
The latest MLS news reveals that the championship showdown between Columbus and LAFC is essentially impossible to get into. The MLS Cup is just the latest event where purchasing tickets has become a complete dumpster fire.
Columbus Crew fans are distraught after MLS sold off a ton of MLS Cup tickets to corporate sponsors and the ticket purchasing process hasn't favored the local fans of the club
People are allowed to purchase up to 20 tickets, leading to yet another overpriced scalping scenario pic.twitter.com/Op3pwSMWti

Having tried to get U2 tickets recently, I feel your pain with the Ticketmaster system resembling something powered by Windows 98 (zoomers, this is a really old computer program). Part of the issue aside from the high demand for the MLS Cup final is the presale ticket code was leaked.

Spend all the available funds on recruiting Barcelona’s golden-era stars.
When soccer purists utilize the term ‘MSN,’ they aren’t referring to the instant messaging software we millennials used to nudge our mates once we returned home from school to our incredibly slow broadband. No, they’re talking about one of the most iconic sporting trios: Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez.

The latest soccer news shows that Germany is set to take on France in the U-17 World Cup final. It is no surprise as both teams led the group stage with nine points each.
France won Group E making short work of the other squads (including the United States which is becoming a theme in international soccer tournaments). Germany topped Group F with no real challenger.

After a “hard” day at work, where you earn multi-millions as a professional soccer player, imagine coming home to this beauty…
Now, I want you to imagine a situation where you’re asking a porn star for nudes. No, you can’t, right? Because what sane man would dream of acting like such a prick when you’ve already wedded the dream girl?

Many are making fun of the fact that this Netflix documentary was meant to be a puff piece…
Over the years, the United States Women's National Soccer Team has irked a lot of people in their country with how political they’ve been. While sports and politics have been mixed together for years, it hasn’t led to the amount of vitriol that many Americans have against US women’s soccer.
Well, those haters could find enjoyment in a bit of Netflix x soccer news. These days, there’s a new sports documentary seemingly every day. Hoping to jump on the trend, the USWNT had a documentary crew follow them around as they went for their third straight US women’s World Cup.

Some people have praised it as one of the greatest goals ever scored…
There aren’t many moments in professional sports, whether a play, score, run, goal, or try, that deserve an entire article dedicated to them. But after watching Alejandro Garnacho this past weekend, I believe the kid deserves every inch of the soccer news spotlight he’s currently receiving.
Just look at this… (more…)

And when Messi’s turning to physicality, you know sh*t has to be heated…
After Brazilian police charged Argentine fans in retaliation for brawling in the stands during the national anthems, the longstanding sporting rivalry between two of the most successful teams in global soccer escalated to its highest point during last night’s World Cup qualifying game.
Under captain Lionel Messi's leadership, the defending champions attempted to defuse the situation on the terraces before departing the field and retreating to the locker room for over ten minutes. (more…)

I hope the farmer is prepared because the GOATS of professional soccer are about to collide for ‘One Last Dance.’

It is anticipated that the jerseys worn by Leo Messi during Argentina's 2022 World Cup victory run will be auctioned off and become the most valuable collection of sports memorabilia ever sold at auction.

As usual, USWNT continues to set the example for what the USMNT should be doing. The latest soccer news reveals that USWNT landed a big fish with the hiring of Chelsea manager Emma Hayes to be the new United States head coach.
Hayes will finish Chelsea's season and officially begin as the USWNT manager in May. The move will come just in time for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The U.S. Federation knocked this one out of the park for women’s soccer as the hire has been met with rave reviews.

Material things we can win back, the important thing is that everyone is well… - Bruna Biancardi
Neymar Jr. made soccer news headlines last month when he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus at a World Cup qualifier game in mid-October. Less than a month later, even more alarming news than Neymar’s injury has broken regarding the star striker.

Over the previous twelve months, Lionel Messi has celebrated a World Cup victory, a Ligue 1 success with PSG–his 12th domestic title–and a record eight Ballon d’Or awards. Not to mention becoming the player with the most goals in the history of Europe’s top five leagues, scoring his 496th goal versus Strasbourg.
He’s the undisputed G.O.A.T of professional soccer, past and present, but as the old saying goes, “Behind every great man is a great woman.” Or, in some cases, “A greater woman” (unless you’re Logan Paul, of course).

It doesn’t matter if you think he deserves it or not…
What do the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, 2021, and 2023 all have in common? Well, those are the years when Lionel Messi has collected the Ballon d’Or award.
Ballon d’Or winners of the past can’t touch the G.O.A.T. While Cristiano Ronaldo has picked up five, we know he isn’t picking up another one before retirement, considering the fact he’s paying in Saudi Arabia. Marco van Basten, Johan Cruyff, and Michel Platini own three-a-piece, but those legends are long retired, as Messi could’ve now set a record that won’t ever be broken.

It’s insane that a player from City is not going to get the Ballon d’Or…
The Ballon d’Or is a tainted award, it is what it is. With soccer rumors circulating that Lionel Messi will win his eighth trophy as the best player on Earth, you can only question the credibility of this award. Before you get all rattled up (just like me), I will tell you that even Fabrizio Romano has stated Messi is expected to win it.
Let’s go through all my thoughts on the matter and who I think should win.
