This collaboration represents a milestone for AC Milan… – Maikel Oettle

It’s that time of the footy season… Fourth kits are flooding soccer stores around the nation, but AC Milan, in an attempt to bring their latest jersey into the realm of high fashion, has taken their partnership with PUMA and added the luxury streetwear brand Off-White into the mix.

Entitled the “Dreamland” kit, Off-White makes its debut venture into the soccer world in style. Alongside PUMA, these fashion giants have taken influence from Pan-African shades, as the jersey’s design pays respect to the ascendancy of Black culture in fashion and football.

In addition, they’ve added a sleek but purposeful number “63” on the collar, a reference to Martin Luther King Jr.’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech and Milan’s first European Cup success from 1963.

Pretty dope!

What Have AC Milan Said

With the AC Milan, PUMA, and Off-White drop catching attention from soccer news, and football and fashion fanatics worldwide, Maikel Oettle, the chief commercial officer for the Rossoneri, released the following statement:

“This collaboration represents a milestone for AC Milan, bringing together football, fashion, and values in a bold and meaningful way. Partnering with Off-White on their first-ever playing kit alongside PUMA allows us to create something truly unique, perfectly aligning with AC Milan’s legacy and vision for the future and celebrating the partnership with Off-White.

Building on the success of our Fourth Kit strategy with PUMA, this project reaffirms our dedication to pushing creative boundaries and connecting with fans innovatively. We are proud to celebrate this cultural moment and bring the transformative power of dreams to life on and off the pitch.”

Of course, some of Milan’s biggest stars came out for a fashion show. USMNT’s Christian Pulisic can be seen donning the fourth kit variations for the marketing campaign.

There’s no denying how sick both jerseys look. Better yet, fans will have two colorways to pick from: a black version that fades into green with red and yellow accents or a red version that fades into green with black and yellow accents.

AC Milan Standings in the Serie A

New-kit celebrations are welcome, but when it comes to domestic success this term, the Rossoneri have nothing to cheer about. Currently seventh in the Serie A, 17 points adrift of league leaders Napoli, Sergio Conceicao and his team need a dramatic turnaround in the second half of the season to get something out of this term.

The fourth kit visually brings a fresh new vibe, but Milan also needs a new look on the pitch. After some new arrivals via the January transfer window, hopefully, the Italian giants can perform as well as they look in the Off-White jersey.

Next up, a huge Champions League game versus Feyenoord where they must overcome a 1-0 deficit from the first leg. The AC Milan vs Feyenoord odds are live for this game, and with a home advantage, it’s no surprise that the Rossoneri are -210 favorites to pick up a dub.
