The latest soccer news reveals that Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo is also team stripes over checks. Adidas announced that Roccuzzo has signed a deal to be one of the brand’s new ambassadors.
Messi has a lifetime deal with Adidas so it makes sense that his wife is also now getting the bag from the Three Stripes. It sounds like Roccuzzo is excited to be one of the new faces of Adidas.

“I have always admired the brand so much. So now, for me, it’s kind of like a dream come true and I just hope to fulfill expectations and do the best I can,” Roccuzzo told Grazia Magazine. “I feel like me being part of the [Adidas] family is a step forward in terms of Leo, but also because of the kids.
“They are always dressing in Adidas and they love it. All the values around the brand, like sports and being healthy mentally and physically, it makes complete sense for me. They are values I really care about.”
Messi’s Net Worth Is Estimated to Be $850 Million
Soccer rumors note that Messi’s net worth is estimated to be a staggering $850 million, per Celebrity Net Worth. It is unclear how much Roccuzzo is making from the brand deal, but it looks like the Messi fam is getting ever closer to that billionaire status.

Messi appears to be super pumped about his wife getting the bag now as well.
“I have grown up with Antonela, and I have also grown up with Adidas, so it is incredible that these two parts of my life can now come together,” Messi explained in the Adidas announcement. “Over the years, my style has definitely evolved and since joining Inter Miami I have started to enjoy wearing brighter, bolder colours, which the adidas Essentials collection certainly embraces.
“I am always a comfort-first type of person, as I am mostly training or with my family, and I love that I can mix and match the hero pieces from the collection in a way that works for me yet still look sharp no matter where life takes me.”
Messi’s Deal With the MLS Is Unprecedented
As Messi continues to play in MLS games, his family’s wealth is only growing. Messi agreed to make the move to the States in part because of an “unprecedented” MLS deal with Inter Miami.

Messi has a revenue-sharing agreement in his deal that allows the star to get bands as the league earns money from Apple and Adidas.
“That deal has never been given to anybody in baseball, basketball, football, and so it’s very unique,” Irwin Kishner, co-chair of the Sports Law Group, told ESPN’s Shwetha Surendran in 2023. “It’s a generational-type thing, and it’s hard to think if you would ever see anything comparable.”
