What’s Next for the Bavarians?🍺

“We now all have to work together to ensure that we spend three more nice and successful months together with Tuchel…” -Freund

After losing three straight games for the first time in nine years, Bayern Munich decided to part ways with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, which is understandable, considering how poorly they’ve played and the fact that Bayer Leverkusen has an eight-point lead over them for first place in the Bundesliga.

Earlier in the week, Sky Sports dropped intriguing Bundesliga news noting that former Liverpool and Bayern Munich midfielder and current Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, who’s chasing a historic Bundesliga title with them, prefers to stay in Germany and join Bayern Munich over returning to the Premier League to manage Liverpool.

According to a report from renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on Sunday, Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund explained that the team is not thinking about a future with Xabi Alonso in charge and that they’re focused on ending their time with Tuchel on a high note.

That’s not a topic for us now. We now all have to work together to ensure that we spend three more nice and successful months together with Tuchel,” Freund said.

Imagine dating someone for a while, understanding that you and she are not meant for each other based on numerous pieces of evidence, and you still tell her, let’s keep dating for a few months, I don’t want to move on, be alone, or be forced to look for other options.

You might think I’m exaggerating but this is exactly what Bayern Munich is doing with Tuchel, and it is not fair for their fans, for Tuchel, and even for them as one of the most historic teams in the world. It is time to move on…

I love football (I’m not from the US and I refuse to call it soccer, football is football, and the NFL and college football are American Football), I’m a fan of different teams around the world, like Manchester United, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, and River Plate.

Bayern Munich is the team I love in Germany, and I have to admit that as fans we are spoiled, as they’ve won 11 straight Bundesliga titles… Now you can see why second place is not an option if you manage this team. To put it into perspective, the last time someone else won a Bundesliga was in the 2010-11 season when Borussia Dortmund claimed the title, led by Jürgen Klopp.

Speaking of Klopp, his team (Liverpool) is also looking for a new manager, he already said he’s stepping down at the end of the season. And no, Klopp won’t manage Bayern Munich, his agent Marc Kosicke has already put those rumors to rest, explaining that Klopp wants to take a one-year break.

Someone else has already rejected Bayern Munich. Joachim Löw, who led Germany to their 2014 FIFA World Cup win in Brazil, hasn’t managed a team since he left the National Team after the UEFA EURO in 2021, and even though Bundesliga rumors suggested that he wants to manage again, with Bayern Munich as a possible destination, Romano reported on Sunday that Löw emphatically denied that he’ll be their next manager, adding that he’s always said he doesn’t want to work in Germany.

Bayern probably have no interest in me as a coach and I would also have no interest in Bayern,” told BILD. “I’ve always said another job here in Germany is out of the question for me.

Whatever Bayern Munich decides, please bring someone who can help Harry Kane win a trophy! He left Tottenham looking to win many Bundesliga games and finally claim some silverware but he’s stuck with the worst version of Bayern Munich in years!

You just can’t help but feel for the guy! Just look at the Harry Kane stats this season: 27 goals and five assists in 23 Bundesliga games this season, and four goals and three assists in seven UEFA Champions League games!
