Magic Nights
They’re hungry. It’s been a long Champions League Schedule…
Feels like just yesterday we were watching the kickoff of this new Champions League format — and now here we are. On May 31st, it all comes to a head: PSG vs. Inter Milan. The final we didn’t expect, but damn, we’re here for it.

The Champion’s Path
Credit where it’s due — both PSG and Inter Milan clawed their way to this final. No freebies, no shortcuts.
Inter grinded through the league stage, finishing fourth. Then they handled Feyenoord in the round of 16, knocked out Bayern in the quarters, and survived an absolute thriller against Barcelona — a 7-6 aggregate war that might go down as one of the wildest semi-final clashes in Champions League history.

They’re hungry. It’s been a long Champions League schedule and a tough domestic season, falling just one point shy of Napoli in Serie A. This is their shot to bring something back to Milan. Title number four is within reach.
Then there’s PSG. If Inter are warriors, PSG are survivors. They barely made it out of the group stage, squeaking through in 15th place. And with no Mbappe? Most soccer news outlets had them written off. Yet here they are — and ironically, it’s Mbappe’s new club, Real Madrid, that got bounced out. Soccer gods have a sense of humor.
They eliminated Liverpool in the round of 16 — the best team in the league stage. Got past a feisty Aston Villa side. Then, they handled Arsenal, who had been everyone’s dark horse. And all the while, PSG just kept winning. Another Ligue 1 title under their belt (fifth straight, if you’re counting), but let’s be real, they need this. Ligue 1 has become their playground. The Champions League? That’s the trophy they’re still chasing.

The Battlefield
The fight goes down at the Munich Football Arena in Germany. Fun fact: Every final played in Munich has crowned a first-time champion. Soccer rumors mention that stat alone has PSG fans praying to every football god in existence.
That said, PSG’s track record in Munich? Two wins. Five losses. Not exactly comforting.
By the way, before the game, Linkin Park and their new act will warm up the fans’ engines in the stadium.

Writing History
This will be the first time these two sides have ever faced each other. Second time in three seasons that the UCL final features two clubs that have never met before.
Inter have already made history this season: ten wins in the tournament — their most ever in a single European campaign. That’s one more than they managed in their legendary 1993/94 UEFA Cup run.

Filling Their Pockets
Let’s talk numbers.
The runner-up bags €18.5 million. Not bad. But the champ takes €25 million just for the final win. Add that to everything earned through the tournament, and the winning team could walk away with around €111 million in total prize money.

UEFA has a peculiar system for awarding cash prizes the value pillar. This system rewards clubs based on media pull, fan base, and historical clout. That pot’s worth €850 million, and big brands like Real Madrid or Bayern rake in millions more just for being who they are.
