Banger After Banger πŸ’₯

The Seattle Sounders just dropped what may be the best kit of 2025.

Welcome to part three of our seemingly daily series reacting to the latest MLS news. Adidas split up the new MLS jersey drops into three parts.

Be sure to check out the first and second installments before checking out the grand finale. These are sure to bet without controversy as the definitive rankings of the 2025 MLS jerseys.

Here are my latest rankings listed from worst to first.

No. 9 Minnesota United FC

We’ve got a lot of water going on with the new MLS kits. Minnesota’s new look could prompt MLS rumors that the players are headed to a Grateful Dead show.

If you haven’t learned this by now, I’m out on tie-dye and anything that looks like it could be tie-dye. This falls into that category.

No. 8 St. Louis City SC

The MLS club is aiming to have as many words in their name as possible. St. Louis does get bonus points for going with the collar on the jerseys, something few MLS teams are doing.

I try to judge the jerseys based on how quickly I am going to find them for $20 at Ross. Unfortunately, this is an underwhelming look that feels like it will hit the discount rack rather quickly.

No. 7 San Diego FC

It’s not a particularly bad look, but San Diego had an opportunity to create their own lane as an expansion club. This one just screams mid.

It also could very easily be confused for a Sporting KC kit. The good news is the navy jerseys look a lot better.

There could be a reason why San Diego is tied for the worst title odds at +6600. The club is unlikely on many MLS picks and predictions list for top contenders.

No. 6 Toronto FC

A solid effort from Toronto, even if this kit does not particularly stand out compared to some of the ultimate MLS drip with the latest jerseys. I would totally wear this one, but it gets lost compared to some of the other looks on this list.

No. 5 San Jose Earthquakes

San Jose totally went punk rock with their latest jersey. The Quakes are leaning on the city’s rock β€˜n’ roll history with this new look.

I love that San Jose tried something different here. Yet, I am not sure the end result is that stylish.

No. 4 Colorado Rapids

We got one of the multiple water-inspired kits in the latest MLS drop. Overall, I like this look for the Colorado Rapids. Let’s see if the new look can help Colorado in the MLS standings.

No. 3 Sporting KC

Kansas City is the rare city that is in two states and the club leaned on this weirdness. The blend of blues will really pop during MLS games on TV.

No. 2 Atlanta United

I was expecting a little more flair, but Atlanta United knew not to screw up a good thing. Atlanta went with their classic five-stripe look with a few added details, including a nod to the design of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The MLS betting odds indicate Atlanta United could be back in the mix as a contender after the team’s late-season push in 2024. Our BetUS Sportsbook has the ATL seventh in the odds at +1800.

No. 1 Seattle Sounders

From the producers who brought you the Jimi Hendrix kit (movie trailer voice), the Seattle Sounders just dropped what may be the best kit of 2025. The Sounders don’t miss on these and accomplished the rare feat of leaning on the region’s history while also creating an epic drip with the new jersey.

These kits should boost the Sounders in the MLS scores. The Salish Sea kits are a nod to the Native American history of the Pacific Northwest (see the Seahawks logo) as well as the water that abounds in Seattle.
