The Hottest Euro Players This Summer! ⚽
Call me a hater; call me biased; I couldn’t care less…
One more sleep and the most anticipated soccer tournament of the year arrives when the 24 best international teams in Europe arrive in Germany for the Euro 2024 schedule.
Join our Telegram channel for instant updates! 👊
As you’ve already guessed by the header title, I’m here to deliver my top-10 rankings for the players competing and one of whom could win the EURO Player of the Tournament award. Surprisingly, you’ll be happy to know that despite my national bias, I’ve only selected three of my fellow English compatriots.
Let’s get it… Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole… It’s coming home!

#10 William Saliba
National Team: France
I can’t show love to one of the world’s best defenders, Rudiger, without mentioning the man who could potentially challenge him for a top-3-best position…William Saliba.
Arsenal’s lack of goals conceded in back-to-back seasons wasn’t a fluke; it was by design, and France’s Saliba is one of the core components.

When discussing elite center-backs, Saliba automatically enters the convo, and he’ll unquestionably be a crucial supporting act for Mbappe and co. this year.
#9 Bernardo Silva
National Team: Portugal
Is there another player at Manchester City who Pep gifts such freedom? No, there isn’t. And that’s because Bernado Silva demands authority in multiple positions on the pitch, and alongside the likes of Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, he has the potential to really push Portugal far in this year’s competition… Until they meet England, of course!

#8 Antonio Rudiger
National Team: Germany
Strikers, forwards, midfielders, wingers, blah blah blah… Why is it that the goal scorers are always receiving the love? How about one of the core components that prevent the opposition from scoring, the defender?
🤍🙌🏾

And nobody is more physical with leadership qualities and pin-point set pieces than Los Blancos’ Antonio Rudiger right now. The double at Real Madrid was cute, but Germany will rely on his expertise to lift the European championship on home soil.
#7 Phil Foden
National Team: England
Next, we have the Premier League’s player of the season 2024 who isn’t shy from soccer news, Manchester City and England midfield maestro Phil Foden. Anybody who can match De Bruyne’s presence in Guardiola’s midfield deserves a place on our list, and he’ll be a key element in Gareth Southgate’s starting XI in a squad that’s arguably the best Three Lions unit to date.

#6 Toni Kroos
National Team: Germany
Kane doesn’t have a trophy to match his on-pitch prowess. Then we have Toni Kroos, the man who’s won absolutely everything besides the prestigious trophy he’s about to compete for with host nation Germany.

Kross, 34, is a legend, and he isn’t slowing down or joining the MLS or Saudi Pro League. Nah, he’s staying on top of his game at Real Madrid… respect!
#5 Harry Kane
National Team: England
Our beloved Harry Kane couldn’t win a trophy at Tottenham Hotspur, so he decided to move to the best team in Germany. The poor man must be cursed because, for the first time in a long time, Bayern Munich didn’t win diddly-squat in his debut season.
Nevertheless, Kane is England’s captain and is the nation’s record goal scorer (63), and he did bag 36 for Bayern this term. Let’s show him some respect.
Harry Kane can become the first English player to win the Golden Boot at both the Euros and World Cup.

#4 Kevin De Bruyne
National Team: Belgium
I’ve seen several Euro-player-ranking lists that haven’t even placed Kevin De Bruyne in their top five… Whatever these guys are smoking, Snoop Dogg will surely invest.
Building on his legacy 🧱

De Bruyne, although injury woes have been a thorn in his side this term, did that stop him from finishing with the third-most assists in the best league on the planet (Premier League)? No, it didn’t… He’s a top g!
#3 Rodri
National Team: Spain
Rodri is one name, but he’s a man with several remarkable attributes. He’s one of Pep Guardiola’s golden boys and for very good reason. This Spanish midfielder is a crucial chess piece in the national squad and soccer games, but hopefully, he doesn’t cross paths with England… Checkmate.
A midfield maestro crucial to @ManCity‘s Premier League title win.

#2 Kylian Mbappe
National Team: France
Ok, you got me. I have to place Mbappe in the number two position because he’s that damn good. He didn’t take the No.1 spot because PSG competes in an average league, and I believe his true potential still hasn’t surfaced.

Yes, he scored a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final, but that second-placed medal means nothing around here.
#1 Jude Bellingham
National Team: England
Go ahead, scour the internet and soccer rumors for the top Euro 2024 player rankings, and I can already tell you who’s in first position on every list… It’s going to be Kylian Mbappe. Well, not this time; I’m going with the Champions League and La Liga standout performer, Jude Bellingham, over the man who’s spent his domestic career winning French trophies (the fifth-best league in Europe).
We need you all this Summer. Come on England! 🏴🤍 https://t.co/kVrBFqUApI
— Jude Bellingham (@BellinghamJude) June 13, 2024
Call me a hater; call me biased; I couldn’t care less. Aged just 20, Bellingham has already collected Player of the Year awards in the Bundesliga and, most recently, La Liga. Oh, and he’s a UCL winner, something Mbappe will only accomplish when he arrives alongside the super-talented Brit at the Bernabeu this summer.
