What Does Caitlin Clark Want to Do After Hoops? 🏀
I’ll have a coffee shop or a restaurant or something. – Caitlin Clark
There’s WNBA news this offseason from the great Caitlin Clark. When the Indiana guard loses her passion – fever? – for hoops, she knows what she wants to do.
“I want a coffee shop,” Clark said. “I love coffee… One day, I have to accomplish that… Hopefully, one day maybe, I’ll have a coffee shop or a restaurant or something. Just like a fun thing once I’m done playing.”
Chatted With Teammate
Clark was a guest on the Fresh Tawk podcast hosted by former Hawkeye teammate Jada Gyamfi.
She seems to have a thing for food, whether solid or liquid.
One of the other goals Clark discussed was her dream of owning a restaurant. She said there was a vacant spot in Des Moines, Iowa, that she thought about turning into a food joint. Her idea for a name? The Rib Crib.
Caitlin Clark’s final WNBA game this season averaged 2.5 million viewers.
That makes it the most-watched WNBA game on cable ever. https://t.co/KTpnWn3oIV

If she does get into the coffee business, we can play the name game with her, too. How about Basketball Superstar-bucks?
We’re sure the former Seattle SuperSonics owner and Starbucks founder wouldn’t have a problem with that. He’d have the cease and desist prepared before the first latte was served.
Not Switching Careers Soon
Clark earned Rookie of the Year honors for her performances in WNBA games. Caitlin Clark’s stats showcased a player with an all-around game. Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game.
Her performance attracted the attention of Jake Paul, who will fight Mike Tyson a week from Friday. Paul was glowing in his assessment of Clark.
Numbers don’t lie…points, assists, triple doubles, back to playoffs, attendance, viewership, new massive media rights deal…
…except for that one media member that didn’t vote for her as ROY. How?
Congrats Caitlin. https://t.co/gfcsl94qWN

New Coach in 2025
Despite the Fever making the playoffs, they parted ways with coach Christie Sides late last month.
Stephanie White will take Sides’ place and she has deep Indiana roots, something Clark addressed shortly after the hiring.
“We know how much of a legend she is in Indiana,” Clark said of White, via ESPN. “I think that’s really cool. Playing against her, I would say I felt like her teams always had the best scouts against us.
Led the league in assists as a ROOKIE? Caitlin Clark did that.

“I think that just speaks to her knowledge of the game and her way to analyze, and she clearly was on to something. Hopefully, in turn, now that she knows how to stop us, that should be a good way to know how to [help us] beat certain things as well.”
Clark’s Net Worth Could Be on the Rise
Caitlin Clark has a net worth of $3.8 million. Most of that comes from endorsements because WNBA salaries aren’t exactly breaking the bank.
Caitlin Clark was the first WNBA and NBA player to be dressed by Prada, a look that is estimated to be worth 22% of her salary. The WNBA has historically received unequal attention to the NBA, which is why it matters so much that luxury brands showed out for the 2024 draft. pic.twitter.com/ozYSGtn3qf

There is the potential for Clark to reel in some more money. The fledgling Unrivaled 3-on-3 women’s league has offered her a million bucks. The Big3 has offered her considerably more. She’s taking her time mulling a decision, probably over a cup of coffee.
“We’ll see, I don’t know, Clark said about the offer. Just taking it as it goes, see if I want to play eventually.“
