The Rizz Is Real. Don’t Overthink It. 🗣️
She is the hottest thing in Dallas. Spiritually, physically, and especially post-Luka.
I didn’t want to start using “rizz” unironically in 2025. And yet, here we are. Paige Bueckers opened her mouth at the Dallas Wings presser and I was kind of taken out by how smooth it was.

She was officially introduced by the Wings this week and obviously looked great. But more importantly, the vibe was fully there.
A reporter tells her she’s probably the hottest thing in Dallas, and she goes, “I think the weather’s probably hotter than me.” I know that doesn’t sound like groundbreaking rizz on paper. But rizz is about the aura. Here’s the clip so you know what I mean:

Also, she’s wrong. She is the hottest thing in Dallas. Spiritually, physically, and especially post-Luka. The Mavs are out, the vibes are off, and the stage couldn’t be set better for Paige Bueckers.

Paige Bueckers Is Just Doing Too Much (in a Good Way)
She was already showing up in WNBA rumors before she’d even played a game. First overall pick. UConn legend. Face card never declines. Paige Bueckers stats are exactly what you’d expect — 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists. She hit 2,000 career points faster than anyone in UConn history. I won’t get started on her awards, you’re getting the point, I’m sure.

She’s got rizz, sure, but she also has the receipts. Which kind of explains the energy. Most rookies show up and try not to mess up. Paige showed up and became the face of the team the second she got there.
Even off the court she’s giving. Her draft night look was perfect. I’m expecting her tunnel fits to match that energy, too. And her socials feel chill but locked in; like she knows she’s That Girl but doesn’t need to say it.

I’m Not Tracking the WNBA Schedule, I’m Tracking Paige
The Dallas Wings could be playing literally anyone and I’d still watch. I haven’t looked at the full WNBA schedule, I just know when Paige is playing.
