Coach Knew What They Were Doing 😏👜
Coach is cool again, and now they’re teaming up; it just all works…
So the 2025 WNBA season is officially tipping off today, and I’m already locked in. But the league didn’t just come back with WNBA games, they also came back with a luxury handbag deal. Coach just dropped their first campaign as the official luxury handbag of the WNBA, which I didn’t even know was a title you could have, but here we are.

According to WNBA news, the campaign features some of the biggest rookies: Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings), Hailey Van Lith (Chicago Sky), Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron (both with the Mystics), and Aneesah Morrow (Connecticut Sun). Basically, the girls who got people excited about the draft are getting their fashion opportunity now, too.

They were photographed by Heather Hazza and filmed at the Jersey City Armory, doing interviews, videos, and looking generally better than all of us.
Fashion Meets GameDay Confidence
Coach is going all in on the whole personal style and confidence thing, and I think it works. Everyone looks stunning. Like, actually gorgeous. And it isn’t “athletes trying to model” energy. It’s more like, “I’ll drop 20 on you and still look better than you” And I, of course, respect that. WNBA rumors could use more of that energy.

They’re also talking about how what they wear helps them feel more confident before games. We all know the tunnel and basketball players have a romantic relationship at this point. These rookies already get it. Confidence is a big part of the game, so showing up to your first WNBA game holding a $600 Coach bag like it’s your snack pouch?? That’s ROTY behavior.
Coach Won’t Miss Again
Coach and the WNBA are both in their comeback eras, and this collab honestly makes perfect sense. It’s not just a one-off thing either, Coach signed on for a multi-year deal, so they’re clearly in it. The W is finally getting promoted like a real league, Coach is cool again, and now they’re teaming up; it just all works.
Final thought: everyone looks amazing, the bags are cute, and Paige Bueckers might win WNBA Rookie of the Year while carrying a Coach Tabby.
