MLB Friday Prop Betting Guide
There are few things more exciting in sports betting than adding a few player props to your MLB picks on a Friday night. They spice up what can be a long season and are a great way to make some extra money if you know where to look.
After going 2-0 last Friday with my end-of-the-week props, let’s keep the party going with two more MLB bets for player props tonight.

Giancarlo Stanton Over 2½ Total Bases (+125)
Betting on Stanton may look weird to many of you who follow the New York Yankees, considering his production at the plate has been way down since returning from injury at the start of June. With a .167 average in 96 at-bats since, some fans wished he’d stayed on the IL a little longer instead of dragging the offense down.
But business began to pick up for the slugger just before the All-Star break, with three home runs in his last 10 games and a flyball rate over 50%. This performance is a sign of things to come and suggests that Stanton is a minor tweak or two away from tearing covers from balls once again. His batting average is better at .222 this month, and his slugging is .481.
I like Stanton to come out of the break with a good game because of Colorado Rockies’ starter Austin Gomber. The Southpaw has decent numbers against righties, but Stanton is far from your average hitter. The slugger has a .280 average against LHP this season with three home runs and an OPS of 1.037.

Stanton needs to make a statement in this game, and with the MLB odds presenting good value, he makes an excellent wager to touch three bases.
