Best MLB Player Prop Bet 9/26
1. Marlins SP Valente Bellozo 6+ Hits Allowed
The Detroit Tigers have shocked the league, storming up the AL Wild Card standings. The Twins have suffered from Detroit’s recent stretch and find themselves in a desperate state over the final four games of the regular season. The Twins hope to regain the final AL Wild Card spot as they close out a three-game set with the Marlins before closing out the season with three at home against the Orioles. Minnesota sits two games behind the Tigers and Royals for the final AL Wild Card spot.
We’re headed to Target Field with our final MLB pick for today. The Twins have their backs against the wall and will face rookie right-hander Valente Bellozo in the series finale.
Bellozo will be making his 13th start of the season. He’s posted four straight quality outings, but he has allowed at least six hits in three straight. A date with the Twins isn;t a good spot for the young hurler.

Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa recently returned to the lineup. Before their injuries in August and July, Minnesota was fourth in batting average this season and third in wRC+! The Twinkies come into tonight tied for ninth in batting average and wRC+.
Bellozo’s advanced metrics suggest the struggles will continue and I’m fading him in this spot. He is in the seventh percentile in xERA and 33rd in xBA. We’re getting a fair number here on the young righty to allow at least six hits. Fire up the Twins as they look to stay in the hunt.
Bet on Valente Bellozo 6+ Hits Allowed (-118)
2. Dodgers SP Walker Buehler Under 4½ Strikeouts
This has become a cash cow with our MLB picks this season. 158 games into the season you’ll know I rarely like to take Unders, but the San Diego Padres keep delivering these for us. On Wednesday night, we cashed in on Jack Flaherty under 5½ and Thursday, I’m firing on one again with Walker Buehler on the mound against San Diego.

The Padres lineup can be trusted, and the playoff atmosphere is alive for this exciting series. The Padres and Dodgers are separated by three games at the top of the NL West with four games to go. LA can clinch the division with a win on Thursday but it won’t come easy.
The San Diego Padres bats have consistently been among the best in the bigs. Since the All-Star break, they have been tied for second in wRC+ and second in batting average (.271). They are the hottest team in the league, with a 41-18 record since the break. They continue to limit strikeouts at the plate.

The Padres have the lowest K% in the league (16.9%) and have been striking out even less over the last two weeks. We’re getting a fair line here on Buehler. The 30-year-old right-hander is in the 21st percentile in K % and 9th in Whiff %. He has struggled a ton in his return from multiple injuries with a small 19.4% strikeout rate.
Buehler is an easy arm to fade with 22 of the last 29 starting pitchers having finished below this line against the Padres! Trust San Diego on Thursday to limit the strikeouts against Buehler. Looking for a good MLB player prop? Trust the Padres to stay hot.
Bet on Walker Buehler Under 4½ Strikeouts (-179)
