My prediction

Throw in the fact that they get to go up against Carlos Carrasco in a potential slump-busting matchup. After scoring a total of two runs in a three-game sweep at Houston to begin the week, Toronto will be happy to see the struggling veteran.

The pitching matchup (Carrasco against Jose Berrios) leaves something to be desired, but the MLB odds are onto that situation with this rather high number. Consider that the Jays are batting .188 with one home run during their five-game slide and that the Yankees have gone over four runs just three times in the last 11 games.

He has a homer in six career at-bats against Carrasco and we like the big slugger to get involved tonight in a place where he owns a career .959 OPS.

• Aaron Judge to Hit a Home Run (+150)

Pretty simple pick here, just take the big guy to go yard. He is due for another bomb and absolutely annihilates Berrios. Judge is 13-for-34 with five homers and six walks against the righty, amassing a gigantic 1.346 OPS along the way. Six of Judge’s seven homers have come in MLB games at home this year.

Carrasco has actually done pretty well the first time through an order and the Jays are averaging just 0.17 runs per first on the road, among the lowest numbers in the majors. Berrios often starts off on the right foot as well so we’ll give these hurlers a little time before the offenses break through.
